Anet, change this as there is almost no way to get credit for breaking the crystals. About as much chance as getting a precursor from the chest.
Create a merchant or collector of some sort that can take some of the obsolete items like the Captain’s Council Commendations and give something usable.
It kind of sucks when you play and collect items only to have the currency or trader leave the game and you’re stuck with a bag of icons!
