The best way I found is simply to farm cursed shore events, can get multiple rares and even if I just get greens and blues i sell to the trader to quickly build up a stack of gold.
I work full time and just do this most nights after work for 1-2 hours and get an average of 2-3 gold a night. Im now just purchased my 3rd piece of tier 3 armor, it really doesn’t take long to build up your money once your lvl 80. Hope this helps

Here is my Charr warrior, Tier 3 cultural helm, 3 pieces of 42k karma and the boots are tier 1 cultural (working on getting the last piece of karma armour) Really love the look of this armour on the charr. Also had to get the Abyss dye to make him look even more bad kitten haha

I had to bite the bullet and go for the Tier 3 helmet it just looks to good not to get!
Also the Tier 2 helmet looks good.

I was slightly worried when I created my charr warrior that the armour might be a problem as I have always normally gone humans for my first character. But I’m so glad I didn’t I love my charr armour he is currently wearing 3 pieces of Karma temple armour (also working on getting the other pieces, except the helm!) 2 pieces of cultural tier 1 armour and the helm of tier 3 cultural armour which looks amazing, though I know expensive..
