Hey everyone!

I got all my MF gear and i started farming events. My question is about weapons/utilities i should use to farm. I feel like my current set up isn’t really effective.

So i want your suggestions about the best weapons/utilities to farm effectively!

And please, explain me why!

Oh thx, heard charr were good cuz of the shout. Someone told me that it fits a lot with the thief gameplay. But im still hesitating… charr are big as hell ! :S

I have to be honest. I have to add my own opinion.

My motivation went down so much when i saw this nerf. Now i see the philosphy behind the ranger, my motivation to play this class (and this game) is near inexistent.

Jerry, you gave me the exact exemple of someone that dont know all the differents factors lol. A lil’ bit of introspection plz!

I tried both and i find SB more efficient by playing it with Power and crit and crit %. I think condition damage depends on too many things and that isn’t a stable DPS.

Be clear faytte. Why you telling that using axe/warhorn in Pve dungeons isn’t good? Do you prefer longbow over axe?

I feel that i would cheat my ranger if i do another char. I’m the kind of person that clear everything with a character before starting another. I just can’t understand that the way of correcting a bug is to downgrade DPS. Doesn’t make sense to me, so i’m pretty sure (i hope), they will do something about this!

And Vizual, Axe/Warhorn isn’t that great un sPvP Only, or PvE too?

I didn’t have time to test it, but i’m pretty sure it will affect many aspects of my dungeons gameplay!

Thanks for answers, but almost everyone have already told their point of view about this nerf. I don’t care what you guys are playing now. They are aware of whats happening right now and if you can’t control your rage, dont spam someone else thread please.

Hi everyone,

First of all, thanks for your answers. I’m currently running a berserker build with my ranger (30-30-5-0-5). My main weapon is a Shortbow. My offhand is sometimes a longbow, sometimes an axe+warhorn. I love my build and everything around it.

Since the patch, i dont feel like playing with shortbow anymore (and for many reasons, not only the downgrade). My heart is with the ranger class, so i dont want to roll to a warrior or something else. I am now looking at which build/gameplay/weapons i could use instead of SB­.

I’m taking any propositions, but i would like to know if playing with axe/warhorn is good. I find the axe pretty decent, but i dont feel like playing it with condition damage. I wanna keep my berserker build. Is it possible to play it like a was playing my shortbow? I’m open to move some of my traits tho.

So… waiting for your answers/suggestions/comments people

For a berserker ranger? Which sigil would u put in:

-Shortbow

Considering a ranger is on a berserker build, which one of those 4 runes is the best, and why?

Oh and rune of divinity is 12% crit damage. But ill consider it too, since it gives 60 in all stats.

Like i told you, someone told me he saw a post and a vid showing someone with full berserker build saying that precision is better than stacking power when you reach 100% crit damage. Anyone can confirm this, can show me the link/post?

i dont know why but i think precision (ranger rune) is better because of the crit chance that it gives + the fact the gear is based on crit% but… i dont know

First of all, thx for answers. I’m running a berserker ranger and i wanna do a glass cannon. Considering all my gear is “power, precision and crit % damage”, wich rune would you suggest me? I cannot chose between Scholar and Ranger. I also heard that after 100% critdamage, precision is better. Thx
