I managed to fix my lag and freezing/crashing issues. Only GW2 was affected by these issue after installing the patch. I don’t understand why but ram seems to be the issue. I increased the voltage of my ram from stock 1.65 to 1.7v and all the problems disappeared. So maybe some of the issues seen by others is related to memory

Yes in every aspect of the game. Lagging so bad freezes my PC. Every kind of lag, standard delay type and server rebound lag. Only way I can play is through a trial battleping account. Trail account auto disconnect every 20 minutes. Game freezes when battleping disconnects. All started with the last patch

Considering how good the guild reward system treats small guilds. I would expect the for guild halls. After months of grinding you should be able to afford a tent with a candle and some hay. Most likely wont come with waypoint. You will need to run to it.

It’s a simple out for providing dual professions. Easier to balance. It would be better to allow dual professions straight up and deal with the aches and pains of balancing and/or provide the specializations as new professions initially without a back story but one that become discovered in future releases.

Christmas is a good bet on release. They said a beta is coming out for the expansion but no time for when it will start. I’m sure we will get filler content between now and the release of HoT.

That was the policy in the GW1 expansions and I hope it will continue in HoT

HoT is following the expansion philosophy of the GW1 expansions. Paid moderate content up front followed by additional rounds of free content. The cycle then repeats for the next expansion.
