I would pay $50 for this expansion, I’d do it with a smile on my face. But sadly, I live in Australia, so it will cost me $70.31… If Anet thinks I will pay $70 for this expansion they have another thing coming (and it’s not my money!)…

I also feel that this a low blow as I paid a substantial sum of money to buy this game when it came out and then for Anet to turn around and say “Buy it again and get the same things as new players do” is beyond a joke! You can go jump if you think that I’m going to be OK with that.

Magic find doesn’t work on chests(for JPs, world bosses, dungons…. ect),or champ bag. It generally only works on mob drops, bandit chests(not the bags inside), and some spvp containers..

Thanks for the info, the main reason i want a higher magic find is to farm the hell out of T6 mats from SW. That’s really the only reason I want high magic find.

fair enough, where would be the best place to get exotic weapons to salvage for ectos/luck?

I only have about 97ish% magic find, I have found that salvaging exotic gear (and the ectos I get from them) gives me heaps of luck. I am wondering what the best way to go about getting a lot of exotic gear or the best way to get MASSIVE AMOUNTS of luck.

When in SW I get my magic find up to 300%, will this effect what I get from embroidered pouches… eg: go to EoTM and farm the hell out of some bags, go to SW, get magic find up as far as I can and open the EoTM embroidered pouches.

Dual- or Multi-Boxing

1. You may use more than one account at the same time.
2. You may use more than one computer at the same time.
3. You must be actively playing on each account.
4. And as stated above, you may not program your keyboard to perform functions on more than one account at a time.
a. For example, if you press W on your keyboard to move forward, a single character on a single account should move forward. The keystroke or mouse click should not perform functions on more than one account.

Well, that kills that idea then :P

right well that’d make sense then i’d have to buy another gaming mouse but that sounds like it’d be a real headache!!

how can you actively play two accounts on two computers, you’d have to switch keyboard and mouse every time you wanted to go from character A to character B, when you swap to character B then character A would be standing still :S

edit: i am assuming you would have to be playing on two separate computers

I have two accounts (both were paid from my bank account and I can provide both CD Keys)… What is Anet’s stance on multiboxing if I have two accounts I legitimately own, I know they are a bit sketchy when it comes to 3rd party software but I want to know what their stance is on multiboxing (no macros involved because I know they won’t allow that).

1)Will they allow me to run both accounts via my pc?
2)Will they allow me to run the accounts on different two different computers?

If it is ok with Anet to run two accounts on two computers, the way I would do it is by remote desktop so I wouldn’t be using 3rd party software specifically for multiboxing.

I am not multiboxing and have never done it but I was thinking about it and would really like to know if that’s ok or not before I do it. Needless to say if it isn’t ok with them I am not going to do it because I would hate to get banned. I am really just looking for clarification.
