Guild Wars 2

I’ve had the same issue for a while now. I think a week. Which kind of rules out a patch causing it because we’re 3 months apart. So maybe… what other programs do you have open during GW2? I was thinking maybe youtube was causing it, or windows desktop because I play windowed with 2 sceens…

Anyone else have this issue? it’s weird for sure. I’ll try a new driver for my mouse…

Btw I use a Reaper. Model ZMS-1000
What happes is, I’ll have the ricght mouse button down during combat or running, and then I hear the mouse disconnecting, and can’t find my cursor even after realeasing the RMB. Then after 2 seconds if I click the RMB I’ll have my cursor back. I don’t hear the reattatching sound but I guess that’s irellevant…. or is it?

anyway. this is getting anoying. someone please help! :p

Hi, I created the guild “Heroes of Kvatch” [Hero] 6 days ago on the 4th of september.
World: Desolation
We currently have 6 members. I am the Guild leader. No one has been promoted to officer yet or any kind of rank change occurrred.
We currently have over 3k influnce, 2k came from the “tome of Influence”, 1.3 came from our member’s activities
I renamed the ranks of Leader, Officer and Memeber but did not edit the permissions or created new ranks where memebers would be placed. We have had several problems since.

In the “Ranks” tab The only permission checked for Leader is “Edit Ranks”, for Officer “Admin Lower Ranks” and for Member “New members here”
All the other permissions for any rank are greyed out, even when I create a new rank.
The “Admin Lower Ranks” is also greyed out, but it’s checked for the Officer rank

In the “Upgrades” tab I can see all upgrades but i can’t start one. The [Add] button under the “Research Politics level 1” in the Politics category is greyed out. The same goes for all the other categories.

When I right click on a member to promote him to a higher rank, nothing happens except for the hovering rank name to briefly dissapear. wen I click on their names I can whisper etc and when I left click I’ll interact whith whatever npc is behind the guild panel.

And lastly for as far as I can see I can’t edit the “Message of the day”. Again the button is greyed out as if I don’t have the permission.

What does work?
- inviting players.
- representing or standing down
- gaining influence
- guild chat
- checking the boxes for “Edit Ranks” and “new members here” in the Ranks tab

So I thought these issues would resolve whith the daily updates where ‘guild manipulations not working correctly’ were adressed. They stopped mentioning these in the updates on the 8th and 9th.

Is there a fix I can do, something I did wrong? Or can only ArenaNet fix my guild to working order? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Update: Is there a timeframe when these issues will be adressed? We’re starting to lose members as there’s no hope for it getting fixed soon and recruiting new people is pointless too as all they can get for their efforts is guild chat… without rank editing or upgrades it’s very dull… we don’t want to create a new guild since we like the name and the 3+k influence we amassed
