You evidently benefited from all the DH’s playing during your sample with 5 wins in a row. Gratz
okay, so I just played 5 ranked games in a row to get a quick sample of how flooded sPvP is with Dragonhunters and here’s the stats:
5 games (w/w/w/w/w)(Sapphire T3-4):
- DH: 19 (!) players
- Daredevil: 7
- Reaper: 7
- Druid: 6
- Herald: 6
- Beserker: 2
- Chronomancer: 2
- Scrapper 1
- Tempest: 0
Total: 50 players
this was a quick and small sample but as you can see, there’s a clear outlier here. i’ll be playing 15 more games and collecting the profession data from those games to get a better set, however if this small sample is any indication, I’m going to guess approximately 40-50% of all ranked players are using Dragonhunter right now.
this doesn’t happen to a balanced profession.
Why are the names of players being removed from the stats when they leave a match or at the end of a match if they disconnect quickly?
What is the thought process on this anet?
I was saying the same thing then I would know I had met my skill level, the ying yang is Kitten Kites
I know your pain, your losses are by landslides, your wins are by minimum margins. If Matchmaking was working optimally it would always be within 100 points win or lose and you could be stuck in one level for eternity and that is how it should work but the people that spam you are were you should be have been riding the easy train as they road their way to higher levels based on a poor matchmaking system.
You have no part in playing them, admin glitching, really?
Stay the Kitten out
You have nothing to lose, your in a loosing a match based on the awful MMR system they have in place in season 2. your team is losing to the other team by a stupid margin, ie 300 to 50, you can’t loose a pip or tier, just disconnect and PVE for 10-15 minutes or grab a cup of coffee to pass the time. Pay it forward so those that can lose may have a chance to advance. IE, they aren’t losing by their skill level, they are losing by their placement in the system of defunct status or perimeter to that status
The numb nuts I destroyed in emerald some how made it to legendary, yet as a solo que I am stuck in a win 3 lose 2 win 2 lose 3 win one lose 3, never ending cycle.
If you have nothing to lose, then break the flawed system even more than it is.
Thank you for your consideration.
I really don’t care if I make if I progress pass my current tier from season 1, what really kittenes me off to see a player that I handed their kitten too multiple times sitting at legendary because the had the RNG working for them based on the current dynamics of the so called improved MMR system.
SAB to save us all, LOL
Sorry – Have no pity for you, you landed in the easy zone, live with it and wait till next season. I hear SAB is fun, you should go play with it while you can.
Just was involved in the event were this happened. I was able to port to TD and back to DS during the event, killed my event participation but at least I was back until in the final kill cinematic I died along with a bunch of others as and Island exploded at the start of the tree run. I ported back to TD and then back to DS but when I tried to join the squad I kept getting connection error on any one that I could try to join. No final rewards or anything. Another wasted night in these time gated meta events.
Just my opinion here as I solo que but match making in it’s current state and what we had in season 1 just sucks. Grouping 3-4 of one class on a single team to shorten times is not the answer. Waiting till the end of this season to make adjustments is not the answer either. MMR and Class should not be relevant when combining so many of one class in a match. I would gladly wait additional time for a balanced combination of classes. I would also gladly wait for a solo que verses a 3 -5 man premade against all solos. I would rather spend the same time to fight 5 competitive fights than fight 15 losing fights, at least at the end of the night I could leave knowing I did the best I could do and not feeling cheesed out by an inadequate system.
I normally do not post an opinion here because Reddit is there go to sounding board which I refuse to use but this BS in it’s past design and current just Kitten SUCKS the BIG ONE.
Falls on death ears, but at least I took the time to post. I don’t feel better but hey, that is life

To Evan,
Why am I directing this to him on this post, because he posted here about pip loss.
I find the system as implemented very frustrating. You may have wanted guilds to man 5 person teams as your main focus but even guilds will have solo ques because their may be some synergy in game play with team mates that do not make the optimum scenario, so people are left out, yet wanting to compete. The devs have left solo que out as an option and based MMR as the primary bonding criteria from everything as far as I can see posted. With this scenario you have players that will drop their MMR solo and regroup for tiers they want to progress in. Solo only players end up grouping with these players so the outcome is a ying yang effect. I played solo unranked primarily before the season started and always maintained a 51% or higher win ratio, no comms and very little chat with teams I joined. It is basically the only parts of the game I pug. The seasons starts and boom all that goes out the window. Yes I am playing players I have never seen before, but tons I have, whats different? I play with the same intensity I have always played, I am more than aware of bad and good streaks. But I see players that I have run with and against before changing how they play, as solos they play awful but grouped they are playing like I know they can play. I have been in matches where known players to me both on and off my team are just not playing to the caliber that I have come to know them to play. I then fight these same players, sometimes to my benefit as I am on their side and the fight is good, win or lose they are playing like they have in the past. What happens to me, since I solo que, the two guilds I am associated with I either don’t fit the group or the original guild doesn’t have the interest to run it. So I yo-yo, up 2 down 2 up 1 down 1, up 3 down 2, up 3 down 4. Amber was OK, I could manage the fact the every match even if I was on the winning team would not guarantee a pip. But emerald now is just a cluster kitten of yo-yo based on what I see players doing to exploit the system. 30 matches in my 3rd tier Emerald and I still can’t progress. I did not say 30 matches to get to tier 3, I said 30 matches in tier 3 and I am now at 0 pip’s. I have had matches I lost 502 to 494, been on teams, I call them tank teams since the same players are group up that same night or the next day where I have lost 600+ to 200 (killing the lord to shove it is a little overkill). In all the unranked matches I have been I have never been on a team that was so outclassed even if it was a premade where all 5 players are on the same guild.
I really don’t think there is a kitten thing you are going to do about it but I had to say what is on my mind. My account is old, I go back to the start of GW1 and I am the last person to come complaining on a forum but your SPvP season is flawed, seriously flawed in the mechanics and the two main guilds on the leader boards are just a testament to how flawed that is though this conversation was not about that.
How do you have time to capture that – I am kicked from the match before I can tabbed to it and get a screen shot.
