But shooting lazers from our fingertips is so totally realistic.
“Look at all this room we have for activities”
Speaking as someone who’s usually the guy laying dead, this is a terrible idea.
But again you must read the reactions of the ppl in every forums and games …
GW2 Devs must takes the holidays Breaks (Christmass + Summer) = that means -3 less contents months
I’m not sure you understand how holidays work for adults. Or summers.
Ha, I was thinking the same thing.
It’s always going to anecdotal mind you
Wat?

FYI, OP, if you haven’t attempted the suggested adjustments found in the post https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/PC-FPS-and-Performance-based-issues/first#post338300, I would suggest trying those. These personally helped me maintain a consistently higher FPS with much less frame drops in higher intensity areas, it’s possible it might help you out too.
Furthermore, it’s probably the first thing any official support person would point you towards, so at least try them before knocking on them.
Thanks for helping but I already tried all of that. If a 960 does not make me happy in this game then I will simple not play it. I want all of you to have higher standards… and I want the game to be optimized… this is the only reasons for my thread. Now I will go enjoy a lagg-free enviornment with my other 150 steam games. goodbye
Can’t say I’m sorry to see you go. You’re clearly no Rhodes Scholar if you can’t get GW2 to run decently on your PC. Maybe read a book about PCs or something? Clearly they’re past what you’re capable of handling.

Runs fine on max settings for me with lesser specs than you. Maybe clean up your PC and get rid of all the crap you’ve probably stuffed on it?
We wanna do what we wanna do
What is this of which you speak?
I like the idea of needing a certain number of “tokens” for access. How about something like this?
Beta Portal: Cost of 25 Tokens
You are assigned 1 token for:
- Every 1000 Achievement Points
- Completing the Points of No Return Living Story Chapter
- Every 10 PvP Ranks
- Every 50 WvW Ranks
- Every 5 Hall of Monuments Points
- Certain titles: Dungeon Master, Light in the Darkness, etc.
Additionally, tokens drop from DT/SW at a higher (5x) rate than they do currently.
Or… how about they just drop the stupid thing randomly in certain zones. It’s a beta key for Christ’s sake not the Arc of the Covenant.
So yes IT IS easy, any experienced programmer will tell you the same.
I’m an experienced programmer and know enough to not speak in absolutes. Conceptually it may seem straight forward to do what you’re describing, but unless you have intimate knowledge of their systems and codebase, you really have no idea how big of an undertaking it would be for them.
So what was your point with this thread? Some people play in guilds that do everything together. Do you want ANet to hand out keys to everyone a RNG winner knows so no one gets left out (sniffle sniffle)?
Nothing big. I’m just starting a guardian after having played a warrior up until now.
I plan on using Sword+Shield / Greatsword but don’t have a clue on what stats to shoot for or how to go traitwise.
Any suggestions on what I should be focused on or weapon/stats suggestions?
