Guild Wars 2

I have been trying to read up on the changes since launch, like many I made a character maxed his level, finished the story, got 100% world completion, spent some time pvping but ultimately got bored.

The fractals sound interesting, and i always enjoyed SPvP but I was wondering if they added any sort of carryover from the SPvP rewards to the actual game? In other words if you are the best SPvP player in the world, when you step outside the small SPvP lobby into the actual game do you have anything to show for all your accomplishments (ie better gear, money, or even just different visual appearnces)? or are you still indistinguishable from every other character that has never set foot in a SPvP match?

Answers would be greatly appreciated, im thinking of giving this game another go and trying to convince my friends to get back into it that all stopped playing at around the same time i did. Thanks!

i would like to see an option to turn weather effects off, its annoying and i lag enough in WvW

yea there is anti farm, there are certain areas at 80 with large amounts of endlessly spawning enemies where groups of 20+ players sit and farm.

its common knowledge once the drops go south you gotta leave the zone and spend time doing something else before you can come back.

This argument is so bad, and i see it again and again with games that involve leveling and progression.

you can spend 100 hours doing something, then reflect and realize “wow what a waste of effin time”

im the exact opposite, always been a pvp fanatic… but cant justify why i should bother playing sPVP when there are no rewards and nothing to gain from it.
