Thank you both. I didn’t know that they were planning on releasing it again.

I’m working on my second ascended set of armor but this time with the guardian’s Keepers set. I was wondering how you would obtain the recipes. The normal way to get ascended armor would be to trade in 3G + 5 Laurel for the recipe but the Keeper’s set aren’t obtainable with this method. Wiki has no indepth detail on how to obtain the recipes. I checked the trading post and there are keeper ascended armor recipes but they are absurdly expensive and its not even fully stocked. For example, the heavy armor keeper recipe for headpiece – visor is out of stock. The heavy armor recipe for the leggings – tasset sells for over 240gold for that single recipe.

So my questions are, are these items discontinued? Are currently any methods out there available to acquire these recipes other than Trading Post?

Thanks Turamarth for the quick response. I quickly rushed to make a few characters at launch time to reserve character names but now that I think back on it. Some of the names are rather masculine sounding and yet my characters appearance is female. Now I can change it lol

I know its possible to change your appearance but is it possible to change your gender?

Do all pets have the same attack speed? Specifically I’m looking for a pet that can hit as much as possible in a short amount of time? This includes F2 skills. Any good recommendations? I want my pet to be able to hit a lot when I use Rampage as one so the boons stack up fast

yeah absolutely. I’ve played gw1 since it first came out and I’ve heard the name gaile around for a while. Your positive attitude and attention to detail when dealing with struggling players is admirable to say the least. Much respect.

If you want to speed up your playing experience, you may need to turn down the graphics setting. This can be reached by done by
1) clicking on the ‘game menu’ (top left corner)
2) then click on ‘options’
3) then click on ‘graphics options’ tab
4) under ‘advanced settings’
5) click on the ‘setting presets’ and choose “best performance”

This should optimize your playing experience which will result in less lag and smoother gameplay at the expense of the graphical details.

I do have something information to add though I’m not sure how helpful it will be. In my case, I got my gwamm title more than 2 years ago, possibly 3 years so that would count out bullet #3 on my half. Even though my gw2 account is almost 2 years old, I only recently started playing due to computer specs requirement therefore I never spotted the problem until now.

Gaile Gray, I have the same problem, my title is not showing up. My ticket #762564. If you need any more information then I will be happy to provide.

I’ve been a long time player of the original guild wars. I recently started playing gw2 but my Gwamm(God walking amongst mere mortals) title does not appear on any of my gw2 characters. I attached a screenshot of it. As you can see, every other title was transferred over successfully with that one exception being the gwamm title.

According to gw2 wiki quote, “After linking your Guild Wars accounts, the God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals sometimes fails to show as an option from the title drop down. You can fix this by closing Guild Wars 2, launching Guild Wars 1, and then selecting a character that has the GWAMM title. Close the program and restart Guild Wars 2.”

I have tried this method several times, have uninstalled and reinstall, tried switching to every character in both gw1 and 2 and turning on/off the titles but it still does not work. I have submitted a support ticket a week ago but they could not solve the problem.

If anybody knows another method to fix this then please met me know.
