I for one used to like going into a jumping puzzle and battle others to get to the top. If you go in there now there is no one. My suggestion to make this map get players on it is a very easy one. Just add in one or two of each rich nodes. You could also give a bonus chest which gives a rare for getting the main chest.

This could take anet almost no time to do and I think it would bring more to the area.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Anet needs to get rid of the mega server

I for one along with my entire guild left the Sorrow’s Furnace server about 7 months ago to come to Blackgate, because it was bad there. Half the people on SF do not want to try and work together for anything. And there is a rather large guild on that server that seems to be run by a few trolls that think it is better to mess with everyone rather than to work together to finish a common goal.

Now with this mega server roll out Anet is forcing us to play with the same caliber of players that we all paid money to get away from. Trying to do Teq the other day on the mega server was a joke. You had people getting on the cannons that had no clue what to do. We had two bone walls go up. Only about 25% of the players that were doing dps actually knew what they were doing everyone else was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. There were players that refused to respawn once they died and laid there the entire Teq fight. We paid Anet money to get away from these type of players and now we are forced to put up with them again. And considering that we had players there from all the other servers we did not have a VOIP to use.

Anet knows the most of the player base hates the mega server. And I agree with a poster above me, they should let us the players vote if we keep it or junk it and go back to how it was before.

I am from Blackgate and I do have to guest over to other servers to do some events. It is not because I want too but because if I want to complete certain events I can not do them on my home server. There are certain events that get bugged on most servers. Melandru and Arah are the two main ones that we like to farm. If they worked on our home server we would do it there. But since these events are left in a glitched state for weeks at a time that leaves us no choice but to go elsewhere to do them. These events when done the proper way can make you a lot of gold.
And until anet does something to fix the problem with the events glitching on most servers you will always be getting farmers coming there.

Don’t forget everyone at one point was a noob in wvw including me. You just need to give the pve people time to adjust and learn wvw. Why not teach them the right way to do things instead of complaining about them?
