A New Strategy for Knights!

in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath

So after the patch it’s become much harder to kill all 3 knights within 15 mins. It’s mostly because people don’t bother reading the patch note so they are still trying to zerg down the knights one by one.

Usually there are always like 80+(sometimes even 100+) at blue when the event start, which means about 30 to 50 people there aren’t doing any damage.

Since it’s too much work to tell clueless people to split up(and most of them basically won’t listen ). The best way now is probably just let them have blue while people who know what they are doing go straight to green and red. This way we would have only about 60 at blue and we can increase the dmg output at the other 2 knights.

This is not the best way to do the event, but until people are all aware of the combat mechanics, this is probably the way that has the highest chance to make it to Scarlet’s holo.

Same here. I think I got interrupted while interacting with one of the crystals, and now I’m stuck at 23/24 even though I had got all of them done a few hours ago.

No one cares what armor you wear..

I always ask people in my group to be experienced. I really don’t care how you play on a specific class or what gear you are wearing.
As long as you don’t die a lot and ask people to carry you without contributing anything to the group, you are welcome to my party.

However, if you don’t know how to do the standard way of a dungeon speed run you are very likely to get kicked. After all I do ask about being experienced in my post. And what’s the point in spending more time than you should in a dungeon? You don’t get extra reward for spending extra time .

I don’t hate noobs really. When I have a lot of time on my hand, I usually don’ mind teaching n guys how to do a speed run. But I hate it when you don’t respond and you are obviously clueless. This kind of people always ended up in my blacklist .

Are our skills really weak?

No, of course not ! Why would you think that way?
Eles have the most op skills in the game ,such as fiery greatsword, ice bow, and crazy healing ability. And these skills benefit EVERYONE in your party.t

[BUGGED]Who's In Charge Achievement

in Twilight Assault

Did it 2 hours ago. It’s working, but the achievement is poorly worded. What you have to do is to lure the boss as far as possible from his crew and kill him without killing MOST of the crew – if some of them get lured in the process just kill them, we’ve killed around 5 or 6 mobs that way. The best moment to do this is when the watcher is near the 2 silver mobs that are behind the crew (also, you don’t need to kill them).

Additionally, some of us died during the fight with the boss and after the boss was killed, but we revived them before we killed the entire crew and everyone got achievement.

Thanks so much for this. Yours is the only way I tried that worked for everyone I know.
Thanks again for helping me get my long-lost 35 AP.

Have you considered putting the wall right in front of the boss so that people can actually stand right front of him?
[/quote]

That’s exactly what I do every single time. But guess what?
People still keep running around the boss even when my wor is up.
Sometimes they get lucky and the boss doesn’t attack them. But when it does,it’s another instant kill. And some might start yelling path 2 is a waste of time, and the next thing they do is always rage quit.

You got it wrong! Being an elitist doesn’t mean I’m not putting any effort in a dungeon run. It’s actually quite the opposite of what you think. Elitists actually spend time learning what’s the most efficient way to do a dungeon.

Take AC path 2 for example, A majority of people love standing right in front of the boss to melee him. Then they get killed instantly. And I did ask people to stay behind my wall or reflection every single time!
It’s the safest and fastest way to kill this boss, but they just don’t read.
I don’t really mind if you are going to melee or not. As long as you don’t die like crazy, I can accept that. I don’t even bother to res the clueless people who go down instantly because what’s the point of saving you if you are going to die as soon as you get up.

When all 4 of you get killed at the very beginning of the fight, I have only 2 options: reset, or solo the boss myself. But if I reset the boss again and again, people are going to rage quit and say it’s a waste of time. So I end up soloing the boss and it takes a real long time. (Yesterday my AC run was just like this again, and it was already the 9th or 10th time I had to solo this.)

At the end, I have to request for experienced players to do a dungeon run every time. It saves everyone a lot of time.

Excelent content, however buggy

I would like to report another bug I have encountered several times.
During the boss fight against Slick and Spark we have to kite the ooze to the oil pads that spawn on the ground. But occasionally the ooze may decide not to suck the oil it comes across and the group wipes when it happens too often in a short period of time.
