Hello all…
I had recently purchased a couple different armor … one “outfit” and one “armor skin” from the Gem Store for a couple toons, and I had a question.
The armor skin was the “Flamekissed Light Armor Skin”. This came as several different items – chest, legs, boots, gloves, helm, etc. If you are still leveling your toon, and you upgrade a piece of armor, you must select the skin again from the wardrobe and utilize a transmutation point every time you upgrade.
The outfit was the “Daydreamer’s Finery Outfit”. This came as a “onesie” that would allow you to change (or upgrade) your armor without having to utilize a transmutation point.
My questions are… why would the armor skins (that force me to use the transmutation point) cost more than the outfits (which do not force use of the transmutation points). Armor skins = 800 gems. Outfits = 700 gems.
Why not just make all of them “outfits”? Is it to allow mixing and matching of various skins? Is it a ploy by GW2 to get you to spend more gems on transmutations?
And a request for clothing items… any chance we can get some togas added to the mix? It can be short (preferred) or long… for male and female. I’m sure the Toga Party participants would appreciate it for next year’s event. If not a skin or outfit… how about recipes that the crafters could make (for their respective level of armor)?
Thanks for the feedback!
