Guild Wars 2

Season 2 has been a disappointment. Season 1 was frustrating because of the long queue times caused by the achievements, but Season 2 was discouraging because of the Gold-Level 2v1 strategy embraced by JQ and TC. I understand TC doing this because they are ex-SOR and SOR never had any sense of WvW ethics. JQ however, had my respect as a server. Their guilds fought well and we competent. Now, JQ has diminished their own reputation.

I sincerely hope that Anet disbands the concept of Seasons for WvW or comes up with a round-robin, or mixed-server, or some non-exploitable concept if they decide to pursue Season 3.

Season 1: ridiculous queues, pitiful rewards
Season 2: too easily exploited

I will only add that independent of downed v. dead states, once a person is dead in WvW, there should be a timer on their removal from opponents towers, keeps, etc. Dead people don’t spy.

As a member of Blackgate server, i have to say that i am quite impressed with how well Dragonbrand is doing. Tier 1 isn’t easy, and DB has been resolute. grats

I would echo Ok I Did It with the exception that JQ and BG are not in decline, all T-1, T-2 servers go through cycles. A long-term T-1 or T-2 position in WvW requires a serious commitment to WvW skill and team development for the server. You can review the .
