The announcement of the week-long “Golem Rush” special event is… interesting, to say the least. Regardless of whether it’s bad or not, I was wondering how often these “special events” would take place. Once a month? Once every two months? I think these kinds of events have the potential to be a lot of fun, where we can basically stop thinking and just play YOLO for a week (I feel like it should just be a weekend though, not an entire week, though that would cause complications/complaints regarding the rest of that particular match-up).

Granted, they should be fixing other WvW issues (ironically, Omega Golems are one of those issues), but if these special events are to become a thing, what other gimmicks/stupid ideas do you think can be done? (Serious or Troll, doesn’t matter; I want a good laugh)

A few ideas:
-Gotta Go Fast: Give everyone perma-super-speed
-Brawl: Disallow use of long-ranged (1000+?) weapons
-Back to Basics: Downscale everything/everyone to Level 1 (you keep all your skills ofc)
-Thunderstorm: Huge buffs to NPC Soldiers

Maybe this doesn’t happen on higher tier servers but on tier 8 many of us are trying to build and work to scale up in your (kinda broken atm imo) system. Right now all our efforts seems wordless since this has become a k-train. Not even the essence of WvW remains. Why don’t you guys try to “YOLO” the world bosses or maybe even the guild missions “just for the funzies”.
Sorry but this has been one of your worst ideas for WvWers, specially the low tier servers who lack of population/presence. Guess I´m not going to Wvw this week, same as many of my server’s players. GG Anet!

20+ groups for larger targets, 5 or less people group for roaming and be sneakily effective, team builds, naked runs, what else can you ask for? We all have a voice here on [BRL] so join us and make your own voice heard. We are always happpy to welcome players who want to have fun in team experience!

C´mon! You still have time to get a free transfer to a growing, always fun and cooperative server where everyone has a voice! Do as other guilds have done and join our ranks, you will be very welcomed!

I´ve run many times with Dark Jean and it is always a blast! We get the job done, no matter what. SM? You got it! Enemy keep? Consider it done. Jumping off cliffs? Why not!

In coordination with the other guilds (me being a BRL of blood), we can take over the entire maps as you have seen on the pics above. We DR are a strong united server, big guilds, small guilds, leaders, officers, roamers, we all work together for the benefit of the server. You can se it on our rankings of the past months.

Give DR a shot and I promise you would not regret it and you´ll become a part of it as we all are!

As a member of this guild for almost a year now, I can back up everything that has been said above. We are a strong, united guild that has been rising from quite a time now. We have had ups and downs but that only have made us wizer.
We have a very friendly community inside the guild, always with respect and companionship. I can tell you that I trust each and every single guild member because they have earned it.
As a server, DR has become a great force thanks to all the guild leaders that have been working their as*es off to unite us more, to trust each other. We all know how every guild works so it doesn´t really matter who is in charge with what, the job gets done.
I would ask to get an eye on us, on how we work and give us the opportunity to grow together as players, guild members and as a whole server.
