I kinda agree with Shade here, however, I don’t feel it should be removed totally though…I don’t want to be running around 1-shotting everything, I just think that when you are 80 and you are scaled down to say…40, you should feel more powerful than you were when you was actually 40, and you should certainly not be getting hit as hard! So I guess I think they should let you keep more of your defensive states, like healing power, hp and armor etc and not scale it back so hard. I am ok with the damage,but it could use a slight boost too. its fine when your in the very low-level zones but when you hit like the level 25+ mobs, unless you are glass cannon you hit WAAYYY too lightly to even feel like you are actually level 80…and that sadly makes me feel like I am not progressing. Progression is why I play Rpgs…Also, there is a lot of cheap 1 shot stuff that bosses do..and enemies have way too much cc, and don’t say dodge, because some of them have no tell signs and just instantly knock you down and sometimes dodge will lag, or you will dodge perfectly…but still be hit,etc.

gw2lfg.com is all fine and dandy, but in MMORPGs these days, we probably shouldn’t have to resort to an external means,and most people won’t even take the time to. It should already be implemented into the game itself. Sitting there spamming chat in the middle of town or in front of a dungeon or farm area was fun…back when I played FF11, EQ or some other older MMO…But let’s go ahead flash forward to 2013 and get a nice Full featured (in-game) LFGtool/Matchmaking system. Not everyone has an hour to spend lfg and 1-2+ hrs running the dungeon, for some that’s all we get to play is 1 or 2 hours, should at least be able to go do other things (in-game,etc.) while a party is forming up for you.

This sounds like a great idea to me, as I have 2 irl friends in game, and those are the only people I like to play with. So if we ever want to run a dungeon, we have to invite 2 other strangers,and that’s not fun to us…We just wanna play with our irl friends. Or perhaps, they could tune the dungeons down if you go in with a smaller group,etc.

Me and my friends were talking about this a couple days ago, and we tossed about the idea of daily hearts. Like where each lower level zone had one heart that reset in a day, and was maybe for example blue or something so you could tell, and as part of your daily or something you had to complete any 3 of them, or make all the group events scale down to a couple people or even a lone person. You know,even Orr is having this problem (on our server) because everyone is doing Fractals. I love the Fractals dungeon, but it has divided the player-base…. A lot.but that’s for a different topic I suppose.

“Realistically”…I doubt you will ever be fighting a 50 ft tall dragon either lol…just saying. But,back on topic, stealth is not all that powerful in this game. It’s already been nerfed to high heavens (example: Hide in Shadows used to last for 30 seconds back before release).
However,they could remove it,but then they would have to put something else in to compensate. Would you rather they disappear for a few seconds(literally, traited, the “at will” stealth on dagger lasts 4 seconds….) or for example: get some skill that allows them to evade attacks altogether for a few seconds while they lol faceroll you…Because if they removed stealth,they would simply have to give something for survivability/escape ,or a huge buff in damage.

Exactly Dr Anthrax,I am sure this is probably low on their priority list. But I believe this would help allot, and people wouldn’t know how they played without it lol. It’s the big things that make a great experience, but the little things that make an awesome one.

Ok, so I am a bit confused here, I am seeing quite a few people against a matchmaking system…However, how is a matchmaking system any different than yelling in chat for
random people (that you also don’t know btw)? Honestly, I don’t know if the random person I am inviting knows how to play or not…The only difference,in my head anyhow, is that one could just queue up and continue to play until they are in, instead of having to sit in a city or in front of a dungeon yelling for more members,etc which is not fun imho.

I suggest that there be a little 2 or 3 slot hotbar that one could put their consumables (ie. food,potions etc.) for quick use, on the screen somewhere.

Well…Even if they already did say no,it doesn’t change the fact that, the game needs a Dungeon “matchmaking” system still lol….It needs one….Seriously,For all the reasons already stated, and then some.

Yeah Reanimator is simply an atrocious minor trait. They could make you summon a Jagged Horror for 10 sec instead of the degen for 10% maxhp per second and that would be a lil better….But,what would be even better than that,is: Removing this trait altogether (or at least make it a major trait,so you could choose if you wanted it…HAH!) – and putting something that is actually useful there instead. Oh well, who knows.

This is a great idea,I was just looking at this the other day on my Dagger/Dagger Necro and noticed she was only swinging with her main hand and it looked a bit silly lol.

I can’t change or edit my guild ranks, or add more ranks, I edit them and it just pop back to what it was before,and yes, I am the guild leader lol also It was working just fine before and then started doing this a couple weeks ago.

I have the exact same issue here! Please post your system specs. mine are :
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth 990
Ram: 16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600 ddr3
Cpu: AMD FX8120 (OCed to 3.4ghz no boost,2 hr stable ycrunch and prime, 42 celsius under full load)
Garphics: EVGA Geforce GTX 660ti (superclocked)
OS: Windows 7 64bit

I have played other games for hours on end without a single crash,but this game makes my computer hard crash. And usually there is a humming noise out my speakers, and the screen turns a solid color (usually hot pink or orange) but sometimes I can still just hear the game music. Also sometimes if I wait it’ll recover and sometimes not. I am suspect of the onboard sound card perhaps causing issues,maybe I will try to pop in my old Sound Blaster live! 24 bit and see if that helps.
