All settings maxed out except reflections which is on the second option. Running the game in Windowed Mode at a custom resolution (1860×920).
AMD has not had an official driver release since before GW2 launched (12.8), so expect some nice performance gains when 12.9 comes out of beta.

Engineer rifle spells and warrior rifle spells seem to be backwards.

Remember ANET, was inspired heavily by TF2 and the engineer in GW2 plays alot like the engineer in TF2 as a result.
I don’t mind the close range playstyle of the rifle, it’s fun, in your face, and packs a nice punch not to mention lot’s of fun combos and amazing maneuvering you can pull off with it.
It’s lower damage and shorter range compared to the warriors rifle are complemented with our unmatched ability to kite. It’s high risk high reward; and to the people who are complaining that our DPS sucks… They are probably ONLY using the rifle and not our full capabilities. Combo’d with the flamethrower it makes for a nasty burst if you know how to pull it off.
None the less though I’d like to see a buff to this class in the near future. xD
Oh! And PLEASE! Auto Attack on weapon kits! Thank You ANET!

The “back” slot should be able to be dyed as well. Looks kind of bad when you are wearing a color mismatched backpack.
My main is a Charr Engineer, and one thing that is quite frustrating is that when I equip a kit of any kind, I’m forced to run on 2 feet. If I’m able to sheathe my rifle, I should be able to sheathe my elixir gun, or grenade kit etc.
A big reason why I rolled a Charr is for their unique running animation on all fours. But It’s such a hassle to really enjoy that when I have to constantly cancel out of my kit just to see it.
TIP: For those of you that don’t know, you can bind a key to manually sheathe your normal weapons.
/sign if you would like kits to have the option of being sheathed.
Char Engineer’s got it bad… If you equip any of the kits, you can’t run on all fours you’re forced to run on 2 feet, so annoying. I’m going to make a request in the engineer forum now, asking for engineer weapon kits able to be sheathed. lol
Either wait for more optimizations, or buy a higher spec’d laptop/desktop are your only options I would assume. The game just launched, and NVIDIA and AMD havn’t really optimized their driver releases for this game yet, so wait for their next major driver releases and check your performance then.
@OP , have you tried this?
Under hotkeys if you scroll down to targeting, by default tab is bound to target NEXT enemy, this cycles through targets and if you hit it twice by mistake it will target the next enemy, and the only way to reacquire your nearest target will be to clear your target and start again. You will probably want to change Tab to Target NEAREST enemy. This will allow you to easily and more consistently target the one you are pursuing and not the one to the far left of him.
