+1 We need this.
And please, if you translate the game, don’t outsource it to some incompetent company.
Majority of people don’t speak English here, in Russia, you know. Or they don’t know it well enough to enjoy the great story Guild Wars 2 offers.
You are missing out on a big fanbase.
It’s not necessary to make a separate server – let us play with international community. We just want to be able to type in Cyrillic, just like in many games.
Take EVE for example. They implemented this perfectly

Now, THIS is actually a neat idea.
We don’t need no stinking mounts in Guild Wars, but having something like a caravan should be very fun

Hi! =)
My incident was resolved today, and all is fine. I just thought I’d explain what happened. First, I’d like to thank GM-Balmungskies, GM-Jay Beeze and Jamelle B. for adressing my issue. Even though it was completely not my fault that my account was terminated. Still, these people did their job quite well. Thank you! =)
I did NOT (and do not) use any macros (I believe in complete manual control), I don’t do any botting (spoil my enjoyment of pure challenge? No thanks), I don’t spam, I don’t scam, I don’t use any third-party software (for reasons mentioned above).
Guild Wars 2 is so beautiful and awesome. I come here to relax and sometimes just walk around enjoying the views. I thank all the people working on this piece of art called “MMO game” from the bottom of my heart.
I know how to enjoy my game and I know how to protect my account well, because I care for my game characters a lot. I spend a ton of time creating them in the character-creation menu (sometimes I get kicked for taking it too long =) ), I put my soul in it, I kinda RP all the time, and I’d hate to see these substantial imaginary beings (I know they are just player characters, call me an imagination-weirdo) gone or my achievements undone.
And the thing is, that now you may think that I’m a hardcore MMO player who spends over 5 hours a day playing. Funny thing is, I’m not. I play casually and occasionally (thanks for making the game with no monthly subscription fee BTW, I love you so much for this. I’d rather spend money buying gems than be forced to feel obligated to play because I payed for a month).
I use long passwords containing random words, digits and symbols exclusive for every account. I utilize other ways of protection as much as possible too.
And yet, here I am, writing this because my account was terminated not so long ago (I was so mad at first), Guild Wars 2 standing out from other games not only as the most awesome game “evah” but also as the first MMO giving me such trouble =))
Ok, my post is probably already too long. I just thought I’d speak my mind. The thing is, that I found my main exactly where I left him, everything in order.
Yeah, so.. Something is not right with your “go-terminate-that-guy’s-account” system. Go figure =P

Yeah, I think FPV should totally exist as optional thing to appreciate the views. Or just make the maximum zoom “inside” the character
Totally agree. Bursting effects of magic in a mass fight look cheap actually.
I enjoy them when soloing though
Well, I guess axes are not popular.
Probably that’s why there aren’t any in the first place

Anyone, anyone? Or is it just me talking to myself again..
Come on people!
I personally have GREAT faith in Anet. And so should you.
This game is already awesome, there is still so much to enjoy.
Sometimes I just go to some beautiful location in the game and just relax and walk around the streets. It’s probably the only game that offered me such great pleasure and joy.
And there is so much more to come
I try to turn HUD off as often as possible in any game. Or make it as smaller as possible. The HUD just gets in the way of immersion.
But we still need some minor tips on our screen, just basic information only
I’ve played WoW for over 5 years.
I play Guild Wars 2 for a while now and I see that we are so better off without them.
We don’t need no stinking mounts, this is final!
Please, make it final
I think capes will look kinda out of place.. They will wiggle all over the place, they will hamper when fighting, weapons will “clip” right through them.. This will look just awful.
How about tabards instead?
We will still represent our guild and have no wiggling-waggling garments on us.
Or some kind of signets maybe? Or even better – custom guild armor and weapon with symbolics. Or just specific elements of armor – not whole set – with a symbol of the guild.
Like a pauldron with a symbol. Or a shield, or helmet.. Just putting it over your favorite armor set. That would look great I think.

Yeah, thank you Anet for making NO mounts in Guild Wars 2.
I didn’t expect it, but it actually feels great.
And I played Warcraft for 5 years, owning a bunch of mounts. Now I understand how much it is better off without them
I’d love that. One handed weapons look SO small I usually don’t see them at all when not holding them in hands
Engineer contraptions all feel rather charr and human-like.. I genuinely expected “floating” turrets zapping with energy.. Asuras are all about intricacy and high-tech creations.
High tech!
Do engineer’s turrets feel high-tech to you? =)
Kinda strange that engenious asura would make such crude steam-punk-like devices.
They still look cool though.
But very detached from asuran culture and science, that’s for sure
Look, artwork of this game is great, designs are awesome. Every single one of them.
They are not created for everyone to like, you know. That’s the reason why people run around seeking for sets they enjoy (sometimes low-lvl ones even)
There are transmutation stones just for that.
If you don’t understand that, it’s your loss.
Developers are not here to satisfy your every capricious idea.
You don’t understand that, you don’t like that – don’t play this awesome game. It’s that simple
Don’t grind then and remain with low-level stats =)
Let’s see how long it’s NOT going to be enough of an incentive for you
This actually sounds rather interesting. But still I think we should be able to choose which way we want it.
Cultural armors should be specific race – bound. That’s just another thing that makes every race special.
No one wants to see a circus instead of a game, where everyone is running around not having a single thing alike. We will lose our “special” feeling about playing our race.
Add different mounts and this will be an end to all gamestory content. It will be just a freaking parade of who-knows-what.
No no no, no mounts in this game. Everything is perfect the way it is
Keep it for the looks then, keep getting new gear for stats.
I personally enjoy high end armors very much
Yeaaaah, that’s what we totally need!
I’ve seen some artwork with big sweet axes, but only small light thrown one-handed in game.
Just a thought.
And crossbows maybe?
They should not be necessarily special in terms of new skills. At least just for the looks.
Tell me what you think about it guys, or is it just me?
Anyway, even without those types of weapons Guild Wars 2 is still concentrated awesomeness.
Thank you

Hi! I love the game so much and I wish for this game to prosper and evolutionize even further, I genuinely enjoy the direction developers are taking us!
Please, keep up to the high expectations forever! =)
Also, may our communtity grow not only in numbers but in quality!
Now, speaking about my suggestion:
Please, make weapon skill slots customizable. To be more precise – let us swap weapon skills in places, just like other skills 6, 7, 8, 9, 0.
The reason I came up with that, is that I bound M4 and M5 (mouse buttons) to weapon skills 4 and 5. I’m trying to play rogue-like elementalist (thank you for offering us such play-style diversity BTW!) and I intuitively associate M4 with something “moving back” in games and M5 as “moving forward”.
Now, that would perfectly fit with the idea of such skills as “Ride the Lightning” (originaly skill number 4) (M5 – “dashing forward-style”) and “Updraft” – (originaly skill number 5) (M4 – “retreating-style”). So I want to bind other skills in different attunements following the same pattern.
So, I guess you are starting to see the problem here. I cannot do that, because in other attunements skills go in different order. We have “Burning Speed”, which is a “dashing forward-style” skill, but it’s in skill slot number 3. We have “Burning Retreat” (using staff), but it’s in slot number 4. The same slot as aforementioned “Ride the Lightning” (using dagger), which is a “dashing forward-style” skill.
I imagine it shouldn’t be too hard to make us be able to swap weapon skills in places.
I think other professions may benefit from this as well.
Thank you for taking you time to read our suggestions
Have a good one
