But Spirit weapon is a very solid build for sPvP or WvW roaming.
Weapons prove extremely useful when down or when you want to take a single player, or even when you’re fighting zerg vs zerg.
They deal passive damage, practically are unkillable minions and on 1 v 1 downed fights you’ll always have the upper hand.

The Hammer’s KD is OP!!! 3s that allows you to rip your enemy to shreads, on top of adding immobilize just before he stands up.

But honestly, try it in sPvP, and you don’t even need to run a tanky build, quite the opposite, since the weapons share the same stats as you do, and give you all the advantage to disable your opponent.

I am doing sPVP (that’s random pvp rooms right? :P) That’s basically all I do.

I’d say drop the last 10 in Zeal and put them in Virtues for the 50% more uptime. That would probably give you more overall damage than the 10% extra damage will. Other than that, why staff? It’s only really shines in a support build or for quick switching from pack for swiftness.

I am not very good at knowing when to switch weapons during combat, so I am just using the staff for quickness boost when I am traveling, or if i’m am out range and need something to do while a ranged class tries to poke at me.

This is for PVP strictly.

Not quite sure how I can make this better or if i’m doing it right. I have average results. Not quite sure when to pull out the staff or when to just keep beating on people with my GS. Anyways, here’s my build.

Just utilizing as much spirit weapon boosts as possible. I’m not quite sure about my stat runes. I just went with divinity, because I am not sure what, if anything, increases my spirit weapon’s damage (which stat, that is.)

I also am considering going with just straight tank-build, and rely on the spirit weapons to do the majority of my damage. Dolyak runes, with sword and mace with shield.

Any thoughts and/or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Been looking for this for a while now. Trying to work on my guardian pvp skills, but really don’t want to play a kitten spec or have a bad stat/weapon/armor combo.

Anyone know of any good build sites, or even threads on here, that have ‘real’ competitive builds?
