@Embolism I think the OP refers to the “delay before you can cast something else” you get when the trait casts the sign -not whether it actually launches/works or not, which in my experience is not an issue.

When you cast a phantasm and the trait procs, you have to wait until the sign has been cast before launching your next action.

And as Celeras I find it especially painful with weapon swap : you cast a phantasm, switch weapons and immediately cast something. Except… you have not switched weapon because of the “delay”.

Typical for me: I cast the phantasm of my sword/X, mean to switch to greatsword and e.g. hit the 2 greatsword … except I end up casting the 2 sword because I haven’t actually switched weapons -despite hitting that key.

Really messes up the flow during fights.

You are really complaining about something Viz did from the start of WvW to almost every Server and could still do if they really want?

I suggest you to open your eyes there are plenty decent guilds on both Servers running alone, for sure more than Viz ever had . From which Guild you are? I am sure if you tell us your guild ,there will be more than enough opportunities to fight you on open field alone.

Plenty of good guilds and groups, no question. Precisely why your insane blobs (when you are facing none) are just beyond us…

Other example of gameplay that makes this match-up oh so boring: I’m alone on Viz homemap on a treb hitting P2 Askalion “from under” this morning. 3 defenders show up. Do they jump to fight? No, arrow cart. Of course with 3 people, they have to run to get more supplies (I keep on hitting the door of course). They then proceed with destroying the treb (a good 2 minutes, I keep on hitting all the time) with the arrow cart.

That sums it up. The easiest possible way, preferably with 0 risk.

Just my viewpoint, not the universal truth.

If you base yourself on historical Vizu, I can see your point.

If you base yourself on what is happening these days in Vizu, well: if you are observant you will probably have noticed we have the inferiority debuff on about every map, home included.

Yet this does not prevent both of DE servers to blob/outnumber no matter the objective (even camps). Or whenever something does not work (like defending a camp), just send double the forces until you overwhelm the opposition.

Do you feel you are fighting balanced forces / winning most of your fights equal numbers against Vizu in these current match-ups?

Thanks to Piken for opening SFR’s Bay T2 + TP, allowing me to sneak in. And for failing to capture behind.

Thanks to the 2 [Opt] scouts, probably too proud to admit they could not catch a Vizunian PUG and who preferred to not call reinforcement, allowing me to portal in our mega zerg of 30ish after a good 5 minutes of Benny Hill style running in Bay (work on your underwater skills people…).

For a server complaining about zergs… how many do you need to be to defend trebs -attacking from max possible distance/safest possible spot of course?

Can’t launch a skill, and that can’t be because of the 15+ foolish Vizunian trying to attack the trebs while we have 20+ people afk diner at spawn.

We Vizunian can’t fight in open it seems. How come though that when one of your troop [EXG] gets totally destroyed in 1v1 (do explain to your players what confusion is/how it works, they don’t have a clue), all you have to offer is come back 4v1 and /danse when the fight is over?
