The final stage of our rewards overhaul will be ladders. Players will be divided into divisions and will earn points for playing to work their way up the ladder. At the end of a season, players will earn PvP-specific rewards both for their ladder standings and for their level of participation. Ladders will replace existing leaderboards.
Once ladders are implemented, ranks will be retired. To honor the effort that players have put into the rank system, existing players will be able to keep all unlocked rank finishers and will earn a special title based on your rank to show that you were there from the start. Variants of existing rank finishers will move to the ladder system and will be used to show your current standings on the ladder from season to season. The original finishers will not be earnable again.
Ladders are the final step on our rewards road trip, and as such, they are a long-term project. Infrastructure needs to be built, new rewards need to be created, and other pieces need to be in place before we get there.”

King of the Hill is a dueling game mode that takes place in the center of Forest of Niflhel between the 2 spawn points.
The rules are :
-players not leaving the designated area for dueling
-the duel is to death and not t’ill downed.
-the loser goes into spectator mode while someone else gives a try against the winner
-the winner gets to fight someone else until finally defeated
-both players must say “ready” on map chat before engaging
- No Elites with recharge >120sec
- No Prismatic Understanding
- No Shadow Arts XI
The advantages of this, is you’l often duel good players since only the winners get to stay for an extra duel, while dueling servers are full of players with different skill variation. So you can get better at the game by playing this.
It also gives something fun to do while queueing for Solo Q.
PvP is dying.
1. No more PvP backpacks.
2. No more PvP skins (the pvp exclusive skins are no longer obtainable)
3. No more Glory Vendors
4. Nothing but a bunch of chests for the PvE’er.
5. PvP rank 80 is obtainable in 3 months time, so PvE’ers can get achievements…
However WvW titles take years. WvW max rank takes years.
PvP got shafted.
Hotjoins are no longer fun.
Solo que is fighting same people all day.
People say PvP is doing good, but its just a bunch of random PvE’ers in the PvE friendly hearts of the mist.

The systems of tracks reward does not convince..
Is a very good idea, however i don’t sure if Anet are interested
