Bug: pet poison don't work after pet swap.

poison applied by spider skill like Poison Gas lose its effect after pet swap despite poison debuff don’t disappear. I’ve tested it and poison damage don’t go on after swapping. Don’t know if at least 33% healing reduction persist. Also if pet aplly poison, your own poison damage only start after pet damage end. This could be a problem in poison master build where poison damage from weapon skills hit a lot more than pet poison.

Plus: if pet apply poison and u apply poison after pet and thean u switch it. Pet poison don’t work and your poison only start its thick after pet poison end (also when pet poison don’t work).

Imho downed state is something who support zerg mechanic. Me and my guild (who had stopped wvw raid since 1 month because exhaust of 50+ zerg) were used to engage always group of player which outnumbered us by 10/20 player. Our number was always arount 20 player and when we was fighting against a zerg, on the first attack we were able to take down about 10 player. These player immediately ressurrect when one of our server player or a guild member died. 10 player revive when 1 die. This thing (always imho) support zerg mechanic also with fast ressurrection from all the 50 player who walk with u. This game don’t promote enough skilled player.
I’d like to read ur opinion on this topic. Maybe not zerg player opinion but organized guild’s player (who don’t play 40+) :-)

This build is really good also before the patch. In my opinion 20 point in the first line and signet of the hunt aren’t the best thing. I play a similar build but with 10 point in first line and 20 in the third line (protection on doodgeroll, recharge off hand skill faster). Then you have speed often from warhorn and 100 toughtness and cond damage. You can change signet of the hunt with other survival skill or other signet ecc. In wvw roaming i play this build with dywana rune for perma regen like beastmaster and it work because of permafury

I don’t want to farm pve or spend gold for all the gm trait. What do you think about them? I want to try some new build for wvw and also pvp. Have i to consider these new trait? Any advice for good and “FUN2PLAY” build? (I hate shout build, i hate rune of the soldier :-)

i’m asking it to the community because lot of my guild member who usually play pvp feel themselves very squishy. They think the problem is here.

Characters in PvP will use the same armor and weapons from PvE.
All items give zero attribute, rune, sigil, or infusion bonuses in PvP.
All items function as level 80 exotic-quality items.
—-> Chest, leg, and boot armor still contribute to the total defense value.
All attribute values are consistent with the old system.
PvP gear now includes unique rune, sigil, and amulet slot.

What does it mean? chest leg and boot….. Shoulder, head and gloves?

Haven’t played after the new patch yet. SOme my guildies said that all classes damage hase been increased in the last update. They cannot understand if armor is lower now or weapon damage is higher. Here some thing they told me:

Warr: crit for 2.5k with greatsword and no crit trati or damage, crit from 7k to 10k with axe f1. (My mate said that on his build he never critted so high).

Skill 4 of mesmer greatsword seems to crit harder, same thing for hammer of wisdom.

What’s happened? Some ghost patche notes or something i haven’t read?

I think ferocity (crit damage nerf) is goin to hit some classes in different ways. Maybe crit damage nerf is a good thing for 1shot thief build (this is just an exemple). These build destroy the game because imo there isn’t fun in a fight like this.

The question is:

Other dps classes are going to suck against condition build? Dps classes have to spent point in 3 different stat to do good damage. Condition damage classes just in 1 and they can spent the rest point in defense stat.

Are condition build goin to destroy dps roaming build more than now? (N.B don’t talk about thieves).

I’d like to read your opinion (and maybe some anet dev opinion)

Where are wvw rank merge? profession balance? I’m tired to play a broken pvp where 4 of 5 player are warrior or necro. Delete all the other classes at this point? Month after month we have only horrible pve patch…Guys Am i the only one tired about this situation? Maybe we have to quit this game?

Hi guys, i can’t decide about rune in my sd roaming build. Divinity for more crit damage or traveler for 25% movement? I think i’ll run 0 30 10 0 30 or 0 30 0 10 30.

Yesterda I was checkin anet answer in our forum. I go down from page to page and saw jus 1 answer by them. I also visit other prof forum because i play all classes except of brainless warrior. So my question is…why aren’t elementalist considered as the other classes? Are we supposed only to support in wvw zerg?

ehehehe “ArenaFail” are very funny……they continue nerf necro and buff class OP, like Ranger.

I remember when they make dhumfire, after 2 weeks “ArenaFail” has nerfed death shroud, traits and dhumfire..ye Necro was OP…. Now Ranger and Warrior are the leaders of OP, and ArenaFail don’t touch the Warrior and buff Ranger spirit…

i found this build extremely efficient, this is the reason why i want to adjust it. I’ve chosen rune of melandru because with 3400 armor the only weakness is against condition. Unfortunately this game favor bunker build against balanced or also glass cannon build. You can do a mid-low damage and resist (with good healing skills) for enough time you surely win. This is my opinion.

I suggest you to try this build and surely you will agree with me. 5th skill of elixir gun, 5th skill of flamethrower, toolblet of turret and elixir gun, turret, backpack regenerator and regeneration boon. With all these healing skill and high armor the best you can do is to increase heling power. With stack from sigil of corruption and 7 stack of might from flamethrower you reach also 1000+ cond damage

The point is: if you are a condition necromancer (or any other condition spec class) and you find a bunker guy with rune of melandru and -cd food, you’d better to run :-(
Ppl continue to say that necro are op. Maybe it’s true but today i had a duel with one thief; when i saw him i’ve put 4 mark under my kitten (i’ve thinked : he cannot be so stupid….). Btw he was so stupid and attacked me… 3 sec and he was died. If the ppl who cry for the op necro are like that guy………………i let you end the topic :-)

Warrior for a bug had immunity to condition for 4 sec. Now he has immunity for 8 sec! So with this and with stability he is immune to fear for a long time.

Hi guys,
I’m goin to ask your opinion about one thin that made me thinking.
Fear is a condiotion, so as all the condition can empowered by duration or with the right trait, condition damage.
Also fear con be reduced by certain food or negate by stability.
The point is why? Why a warrior/guardian ecc with a lot of stability can negate the cc effect and also fear damage? I think this is a weakness of this condition. There are multiple way to evade it. Maybe stability would only stop the cc effect and not the damage? Am i saying something stupid?
Now sygil of paralyzation don’t work with fear. It can be ok because also immobilize and cripple and chill don’t work with it, but stability negate the cc and alos the damage.
So what do you think (and sorry for my english)

Hi guys,
I’m trying some condition buildin these days for roaming in wvw. 0/30/20/0/30, 30/30/10 etc. Before condition i was running power build. Power builds are a little weak against thief because you can’t load them of condition before they stealth (for exemple).
Someone told me that condition is better for roaming, but i have found some problem against some ranger, warrior, guardian. They clean condition very fast and are running heavy bunker build. I’m doing wrong? There are some tips against these classes or is better to play power build on necro for roaming?

Hi guys,
I’ve finished my necro today and now i can’t decide which equip to buy. I Mainly do wvw with my guild (20/25 ppl) or roaming (solo or small group) whic equip is better? I can change my trait as many time as i want, but haven’t enough money for 2 equip. So cond or pow? or maybe hybrid?
I hope in a lot of suggestion :-)

yeah, i was asking for a wvw build. There are too many condition remover in this game so i think a condition build isn’t so good, expecially against some classes ( Bunker DD ele for ex) that have a lot of cond remover by themeselves. Is this wrong?
THe fact is that every classes and every spec need us to use a different build. We are’nt like mesmer who can use one solo build and one zerg build and they are close to divinity in each case

Hi all,
I don’t like hgh build at all so it’s since one month i’m lookin for a good roaming/small group build.
Always played condition build 30/10/0/20/10 but when i found some character like bunker guardian or elementalist that build isn’t effective at all.
Recentrly i have tried to modify the old sd build (can’t change armor because i haven’t enough money)

Hi guys,
I’m playing actually this build 30/10/0/20/10 and can’t decide if it can be better changin it 30/10/0/30/0. I don’t want to use hgh trait because i found it slow stackin all might. It isn’t my playstile. I Play generally pistol/shield, toolkit, grenade. If i don’t use grenade i put the trait in power line that give 3 stack of might on healin skill (plus sigil of battle).
Gear rabid and carrion.

Any suggestion about these 10 point and traits?

Ty all for your suggestions. I think these method are all functionally but in the same time i feel that engineer miss an evasive way like thief, elem, also guardian! In these days i run a lot behind many guardian….they never go down XD! And they run so much that they can reach often a friendly point.

I feel that our calass misses an escape mechanism. I have played ele, thie andesmer and all these class have an available and efficient method to escape bad situation. An engineer? Is there any way or build we can use without large player numbers pain?

I usually use bomb instead of grenade because of confusion and burning and most important it’s hard for me to use grenades XD This build work fine also with grenades just have to change some traits in power line.

Can you suggest me some changes?
