Check mobo bios update.
I had this issue with my AMD fx 8150 with a Noctua DH14 cooler and Gigabyte Windforce 7950. CPU runs low 30’s oc’ed. This game would cause CPU to go high 50’s ( when I was watching, not sure how hight it actually got ) and would crash my system.
I ended up updating my bios because because one I had never checked and two they had a “stability” update. This ended up fixing my issue and it runs low 40’s now playing.
