Happening to me as well. Game is unplayable, skills don’t fire and eventually I end up getting kicked.

Sigil of Battle issue with one mainhand

I am mainhanding a sword with Superior Sigil of Battle, with a different offhand in each weapon set (sword/sword and sword/focus).

The issue I’ve run into is that when swapping weapon sets in combat, I will sometimes be unable to get might on swap. This issue lasts for the entirety of that particular combat; in other words, I will never get the might when I swap until I break combat and enter another fight. By the same token, if I am getting might on swap, it will never NOT give me might for that combat on every swap.

I thought it might be related to which set the weapon is equipped and which set I start with at the beginning of combat, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference in whether the sigil works for that combat or not.

For reference, I am a mesmer with my offhand focus using Sigil of Fire and my offhand sword using Sigil of Air, with my mainhand sword equipped in the first weapon set alongside the focus.

The Quality of the Living World content

I love how the OP makes multiple points about the Living Story and issues he has with the quality of each patch, and the very first reply is “Well Teq just isn’t FOR you.” Way to ignore the point of this thread.

It amazes me that people defending this one patch are so blindly defensive about it that they feel the need to bring their opinion on the matter even when it’s barely relevant to the discussion.

That aside, I agree with OP on this; the general quality of the patches has gone down noticeably. Queen’s Jubilee was buggy with the gauntlet to the point that they had to remove a gambit entirely to keep the arenas functional, not to mention the balance issues and the fact that the Pavilion bosses were supposed to be “zerg breakers” yet it just led to zerging HARDER.

Clockwork Chaos was a mess, too. Countless portal events that simply didn’t spawn mobs, a dungeon that was only accessible if you or a friend farmed the portal events, while simultaneously barring access to the content we had previously been able to enter without hassle. Gating content that was previously freely accessible, regardless of the difficulty of getting back in, left a very bad taste in my mouth.

SAB: BTS took a fun idea that was originally something that you could relax and enjoy in small bits and decided that it wanted to be real content too! So we got World 2, with a zone that was longer than the entirety of the four zones before it, and many times more tedious. Difficult? A bit. Long, arduous, and exhausting? Absolutely.

And now we have Teq. The challenge of this patch is having the patience and TIME to prep for a 15 minute world boss fight. If you fail it, you get to wait another hour minimum to attempt it again. The fight itself isn’t even difficult from a gameplay perspective. It’s also not very innovative or fun to do. Rotate your banners, stack might, and zerg harder than you’ve ever zerged before. Breaking the monotony of zerging with “strategic” defense events is a lazy way to add the illusion of depth to what is, ultimately, a DPS race. It’s fake strategy and skill, and I cannot understand why people claim to be “hardcore” because they can beat this beefier loot piƱata. This is a disappointing excuse for a hard, strategic, interactive boss fight.

The last patches have been very uninspired and it saddens me that Anet has apparently forsaken quality for quantity.
