Concept:
Baby Fractals is an initiation to Fractals for new and inexperienced players in GW2, regardless of level. Each group will be lead by an experienced player from Mist Angels. The guide will have the mission to let new players discover the Fractals and to help guarantee a smooth run adapted to its group.
The reasons why Baby Fractal is great for new players:
By having organised for our guild members several Baby Fractal events, we have discovered that it was a great PVE experience for new players. The level scaling allows everyone to group together no matter their character level, while a Fractal 1 or 2 is forgiving enough for badly geared character and low experience. The difficulty is perfect for a new group.
Fractals are generally short, as well as varied, in both atmosphere and gameplay, proposing fun fight mechanics. It’s the ideal Dungeon to show to a new player how PVE in GW2 can be fun. In addition, rewards are very good for a levelling character that will suddenly find several green items of his level.
Mist Angels will provide:
• Experienced players that will lead each group, assuring that the experience will be as pleasant as possible.
• Teamspeak channel for each group for easier communication.
• Food and Potions

Hello everyone,
MistAngels and PRIMEGaming community are happy and proud to invite you to our new show that we will show every friday, starting this 12th april 2013 the Iron Angels Challenge!
>>> TRAILER on Youtube <<<
Most people are aware of the challenge Ironman and this has been achieved in various games by many players, the basic premise being, to level a character as far as possible without dying. Some additional rules can also be added to spice up the difficulty, such as restricting equipment or skills.
One day we decided to organise a similar event in our guild. For the players that wished to take part the principle was simple; for all to level a new character together without dying, with the death of a character resulting in it being deleted and the player eliminated from the challenge. From this basic idea it quickly evolved into something bigger.
Firstly, we had many more members interested that we anticipated. Instead of having one small group, we would have three full teams. Secondly, we wanted to stream this as a series of events, offering an exiting show that would allow viewers to interact in some way. A sort of survivalist reality show in Guild Wars 2!
IRON ANGELS CHALLENGE SHOW!
• Join us every Friday at 21h CET for our Show: Iron Angels Challenge!
• Support your favourite team by following their adventures on one of our three Livestreams: Team BLUE, Team GOLD or Team GREEN. If you can’t choose your favourite, follow all streams at once on the dedicated PRIME Gaming page.
• Vote for your favourite player after each show. These players will recieve a bonus that will help him during his next adventures. We have set up a voting system on Anook that you will be able to use: here. Anook is a new social network for gamers easy to use. You can register yourself through your Facebook or Google account.

Thank you everyone!
Wish you the very best for 2013!!
@Escalantek : it was a challenge for me to make a video on such a slow music.
I firstly wanted something in the lines of Lindsey Stirling (as I used one of her song for my other video), a dynamic and joyful music that would have fit the Wintersday theme.
Then I had a guildie who come up with Gamine, and I immediately felt in love with the song "Hush". I really wanted to make the video with that song. I was very afraid it would be boring though, as the music is so slow. So I had been extra careful with that. Apparently worked out as no one so far told me the video was boring. Ready for the next challenge!
Oh indeed! Thank you very much! Link is corrected now, you can watch the video! Take care everyone!

Happy Wintersday, Merry Christmas

To everyone that will happen to read those lines, we, in Mist Angels, wish you to spent great hollidays, and wish you the very best for the new year to come. May your life be blessed with Joy, Love, Success, and Understanding. Peace!
This video had been made to carry our wishes to everyone that would see it, and of course, in particuliar, the GW2 Community.

I’ll certainly not use any sort of wow-like dungeon finder anyway. I’m still convinced that’s one of the features that helped to completly destroy the sense of community there was still left in Wow before uts implementation
Heya Claudius,
Your feedback is well written and interesting.
I’m for one very happy about the Winter event. My favourite game is the Snowball mayhem. The jumping puzzle is amazing, but I’m too bad to do it, I only managed to pass 8 snowflakes.
However I’ve a very strong annoyement with all games of this event : impossible to group. Up! I do not mind to not be in my friends/guild mates team, but I want to play with them in the same game. A system similar than the server in spvp should be possible, so friends and guildies could all join "server 342" and happily play together. A game like toymaggedon is not interesting with randoms that even do not answers your greetings. This kind of game would be perfect and fun with a group of friends.
I really hope you can fix this issue for next holliday events. Your ideas are great, your games are fun, but it would be so much better if we could play it with our friends!
Hello everyone!
Someone told me one day “If you want to heal, play a guardian”.
But I disagre. Fun part in this game is to try different things. Explore build that not one have tried before. Do something original.
So I wanted to make a non mantra healing build. So far it’s working very nicely. But I’d be happy to see your opinion about it, and have your feedback.
Shattering Support-Heal build
Idea: -Healing through shattering, while keeping max boons on allies. And conditions on foes.
-The structure of this build 20 domination/30 inspiration/20 illusions allow me to easily switch for a different builds without the need of respeccing.
>>> Support-Heal <<<
Weapons: Staff/GreatSword
Gear: Going for a balanced mix of Conditions/Heal/Power Neglecting completly Precision/Thoughness, getting vitality if I can.
Runes: Monk (+heal + boon durations)
Skills:
-I use my Signet of Inspiration, and Signet of Domination for the passive
-I activate Signet of Inspiration, once I managed to get enough boons on myself, particuliary Might. Then I copy them
-I activate Signet of Domination to stun an annoying target
-I use Chaos Storm on all cd, Time Warp and my Flower as much as I can. Depending of the fight, I might not waste their cd, if I know a better moment in the fight will requiere those spell.
-I shatter as often as I can. Shattering will put vigor on allies, and vulnerability on foes, heal a little bit, and maybe cure a condition.
-To Shatter, I’ll try to get clones as much as I can. Depending of the situation I shatter two or three clones.
-I generaly stay on Staff. But I swap sometimes to Greatsword if I want to use Illusionary Wave to push back some foes, if the figth requiere more AoE or more Damages overall, if I can dispell
Here is a broadcast from my Stream where you can see my playstyle. I’m using more the greatsword here as I was playing with several support guildies : http://www.twitch.tv/elloawendy/b/344483935
I completely disagree with you, but i guess its a matter of taste. It’s nto because YOU don’t enjoy it, that the game is bad. There is LOT of very good game at the moment, just pick up the one that fit your playstyle the best.
Personally I really enjoy the game and the concept of the game.
- It’s gorgeous, beautiful, it makes me dream. Story is great and voice acting clear enough for non english native to understand easily.
- It’s a game that you can play easily with all your friend. You are not punished to play more or less than them. Anyone can play together different aspect of the game.
- It’s challenging enough for the most skilled players, while being accessible to the casual or new players.
- It has tons of content to please different sort of gamers: WvWvW, SPvp, Dungeons, exploration, Puzzle, seasonal events, vanity item to gather.
-Combat system is fluid, dynamic, fun, intuitive
and that’s only some of the things that make LOVE this game so much.
I however understand that’s not the taste for everyone. You want raid, play WOW or Rift. You want a more mature game where you need to make your brain works, play The Secret World. You want more physical combat system, play Teraonline.
None of those games are perfect, but all will offer you something special and great. Up to you to get what you prefer.
I was looking for such a suggestion.
Considering that WvWvW is entirely separated from the PVE game, and from the PVP game, considering that you have to join a different dimension, I’m surprised this had not been made earlier.
Could be like in SPVP, in Hearth of The Mist. You arrive in the WvWvW dimension, and you have access to your WvWvW Build, and your WvWvW equipment. Anet wants the player to “use” money on respec? Fair enough. To reset a WvWvW build you need to speak to the WvWvW class trainer. Anet want players use the gear they have collected in Dungeon in WvWvW, fair enough again. Just make an additional equipment panel where you can save your equipment dedicated for WvWvW.
I’ve not read the full thread, but many things had been said that I agree with (and many others I disagree)
- I enjoyed the event overall
- I LOVE the idea behind it! I’m amazed that, you guys, had such creativity, and try to implement this in game. The story, the NPC dialogue, the adventures, the mini events to capture the island. It was so GREAT ideas. Really frustrating that the technique was the main obstacle for us, to enjoy your work and your creation.
- The art of the new zone is amazing!
- The new creature, the Karka was really fun to fight. It felt epic.
- Unfortunately the lag was so important that the PH3 was almost unplayable. I even shut down my stream, hoping I would get less lag.
- Phasing the “story” quest of the event would be the best solution in future. Better immersion (camping a NPC with 30 other players is absolutely anticlimatic), less bug problem.
One very annoying thing with the overflow system was to stay with your party/guild. We have decided in my guild <Mist Angels> that we would do the event together, as a guild. We were 20 members participating, and we had to use tricks to stay in the same overflow. If someone was disconnecting, he had huge difficulty to come back in the same overflow than everyone else.
An idea would be to have overflow that can be claimed by a party (or a guild), that party/guild overflow can be filled by randoms, but the guild (or party) that claimed it, will not be kicked from that overflow.
- Make the mails announce the event a bit before so we have the time to reach the right place. I missed the first minutes of the events (and the fancy conversations) because I was waiting with my guild in the wrong place. Time we reached the place, the event was already started.
-The Fractal of the Mist is a great concept, and a awesome dungeon. Didn’t tried the new PVP map yet.

This is some of my shots during the event.
Despite the lag and the bugs, I’ve enjoyed myself a lot, and I found this event a really great idea! Hope more of those will come in the future, with no lag it would have been totally EPIC!
Wait tomorow. I think this island will be a quest hub
1. Happy with the game, service, and all it’s contents.
I find this event a great idea. I’m really amazed to see how great ideas ArenaNet have! It’s very frustrating cause it would have been EPIC, like the best experience in a MMO event without the lag.
During three night in a row, we managed with my guild to keep 3 or 4 parties of 5 persons in the same overflow at all time to enjoy this together! Was abit tricky but we managed and the event was really great, despite the lag (sometimes unplayable lag) because we were together.
Hello everyone,
I’m very happy to present you the music video I made for my guild Mist Angels and that show the beauty and the fun of Guild Wars2.

Hope you will enjoy it! (Thumbs up if you like it please )
