From my perspective, it is really disappointing to go to bed, being up 4k points on both SoS and Mag, and then waking up to see SoS at a 10k point lead. That is a 14k point swing, in the middle of the night.

It makes wanting to take objectives and upgrade them feel pointless.

So your offering of joining SoS sounds real tempting because I’m getting tired of being nightcapped. Sigh.

Well…. TC got off to a flying start, but we soon started pegging them back. I guess that flying start is what gives you the impression that SoS only got our points overnight when this is not the case.

as i said we just started slow, but by 9pm Central we were the top points on potential, and stayed there until i went to bed at 11.30pm Central. I guess the aussies just kept that going and improved on it.

SoS definitely can compete in NA hours now, but we are still short a map of players at least.

Actually, that’s entirely inaccurate. You (SoS) were in the lead for at least the first 2 days, if not 3, with a solid 10k+ point lead. After that, however, we took the lead and kept it. And no, you were not getting your points during NA times. I’m not saying this to troll or to say we were that much better than you. It’s just simply not true. You would get your points starting around 4am to about 11am where we (TC) would then start having a presence again and slowly take everything back.

Yeah, Twinbros is completely out of line. No one on TC plays for 2nd, or decides who is going to be first. Besides ourselves. Just another kid with with delusions of the enemy 2v1ing them. There are people like this without fail every new server match up.

At the start we had quite a lead. but your advantage during our downtimes on the longrun accumulated eventually surpassing us. if you were truly the better server. you would have beaten us by way more points.

The highest I personally saw you leading by was 12k (SoS). It may have gone up to 20k in the time I couldn’t monitor the score in the beginning. That was within the first 3 days where the point differences were still so little it could have swung both ways. After those 3 days, it seems SoS crumbled with TC taking the lead and holding it (This may have been around the time [TSG] came along and were able to hold at least 100~+ consistently worth of points during our night time. SoS seems to struggle to do this during their night, although they were able to do so during the first few days but that seemed to just drop off), and GoM had been left in the dust already. Why couldn’t you keep the score lead? 20k is fairly significant. It was a good buffer.

I don’t understand the argument that we have less ‘downtime’ than you do. Why would one group of people have less downtime than the other? Do NA’ers work less hours in a day? Don’t have as much school? Sleep less? Confusing argument.

Uh, pretty sure there’s absolutely nothing anyone can do about this ‘exploit’. Should they stand there for you for 10 seconds 30 feet away to make sure they’ve rendered on your screen so you can shoot them before they get close? I’ll pass the word along…

Oh well. It’s not like our daytime forces have ever suffered.

Ok, so wow the misinformation in this thread.

Guarantee you, until this morning when this thread was mentioned, the majority of Tarnished Coast players had no f’in idea that we were in any kind of supposed alliance. I didn’t. My guild leader didn’t. At least, in Eternal Battlegrounds. I am in the guild that usually has a solid presence in EB when our warleader is on (EP).

When our warleader is on, there is a significant difference in our tactics and strength due to people that flock to him. And he’s actually intelligent. He logged in early this morning. (5 AM?) and the presence of the other 2 servers started dwindling, and with our leader in (I will refer to him by his name at this point, Odinzu), ours made a massive push.

We do actively defend our points. So just because Maguuma doesn’t regularly cap our points, it doesn’t mean they aren’t trying. It means that we foil them probably at least 50% of the time. You should understand this yourselves as the same thing happens to you (EB).

Our borderlands are commanded by others who are for the most part unassociated with us. And they seem to be doing a decent job, although it does appear they have been struggling more lately than the 24h match ups.

TL;DR: WE (TC) DON’T GIVE A kitten AND WHAT WE HIT, WHAT WE DEFEND, WHEN WE DO IT, HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY SUPPOSED ALLIANCE. WE STRIKE ON OPPORTUNITY, AND WE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF 1 PERSON (IN EB). WHEN THAT PERSON IS OFFLINE, WE USUALLY JUST BARELY HOLD ON TO WHAT WE HAVE. UNLESS WE HAVE A HUGE NUMERICAL ADVANTAGE FOR WHATEVER REASON. RIGHT NOW, WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING OVER THE REST OF MAGUUMA AND TAKING GREAT JOY AT CAMPING BOTH YOUR SPAWN POINTS.
