Guild Wars 2

I use Strength 3/5/7 + Discipline 2/5/8 + Defense 2/6/8. Never had any issues with these traits. Defense 8 is awesome and also provides free adrenaline when you’re using Shield 5

I use GS/axe+shield so hopefully I can provide some useful tip on 1vx situations. Usually my rotations are:

GS 4 -> dodge/roll -> GS 3 -> GS 5 -> dodge/roll -> GS 2 -> F1 -> swap -> Shield 4 (CC) -> Axe 2 + 1 spam -> By this time they should be running away Axe 3 -> F1 (CC) -> Swap

I mostly use the CC skills as gap closers and use shield 5 based on the situation. Not sure if this is a popular rotation however I have had very, very good results (and a lot of fun) in sPvP and WvW with these combos.

For me I have found it to be very useful as a warrior to have all of the weapons you can use in your bags with you at all times. This means you can swap in and out of weapons depending on your circumstances.

The torch really acts as an offhand utility weapon mixed in with burn application.
Skill 5 allows you to clear two conditions while creating the fire field around you, which can be used in an organised group to stack might on the boss rather than before the boss. Also means all your blast finishers will be doing damage and be giving might (Thief Short bow comes to mind).

Greatsword however, will forever be the bread and butter of the warrior class. Might on critical hits + so much utility.
If you don’t have an ascended Greatsword already, pick that. If you do then pick what you think you will use/need.

This is very helpful as I wasn’t sure if the Greatsword would be obsolete as a Berserker. I’ll be picking the Ascended Greatsword. Thanks!

I recently acquired a Tequatl’s Hoard and am having a hard time on picking a weapon. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to participate in any BWEs so I was wondering if anyone could shed some insight on what a Berserker will use? I understand the skills and overall concept are based off a torch.. Does this mean that greatswords will no longer be used?
