This is the simple reason. ArenaNet tried to appeal to those wanting challenging content/raiding. Anyone that follows the meta or looks into endgame PvE has likely heard of DnT. From the perspective of someone looking for that type of content, DnT essentially said to pass on this game.

ArenaNet has to put a lot of trust in you to unban your account. How do you know he wasn’t cheating? He could have easily been using a VPN to mask the other accounts and one day he accidentally logged in normally which got his real accounts flagged.

If it wasn’t for him getting called out, he likely would have never admitted to account sharing himself and support wouldn’t have revealed that fact. In his case, he’s lucky that happened.

As for DnT, they were publicly included and publicly removed. It’s as simple as that.

I am that guy and my very first support ticket starts with me saying that i did share my account along with the reason to do so. Stop with the random copy pastas like this (literally that is all that is yo typed.) if you are not willing to read about it further.

That said, i do not see this as a humiliation as i agree with ANET’s decision to remove DnT. They could’ve waited a while before they make this announcement though. So my opinion on this is that while the decision is not wrong, it could be handled better.

Yup that is true, most of them uses your own IP to log-in but transmit the in-game data via VPN.

Using a total VPN or a transparent one is allowed however you also have to keep in mind it can cause problems – which you’ll need to solve with support if it happens. There has been cases before but most of them resulted in a happy way.

This is true for ALL of them btw, not just for WTFast. I personally used BattlePing in games before and i like it a lot more than WTFast (no lies, best support i’ve met.) but i still had a situtation in Aion where it took 1-2 days to get it fixed.

So feel free to use it, althought i suggest BattlePing instead :-P

Try playing on windowed fullscreen. Does it happen then?

And if it happened before it will probably be easier for them to fix this. Do you need gems asap for some reason?

You did not really give any useful information to even guess what is wrong but.. there ARE crashing issues at the moment, and they are working on fixing them for last few days. I’ve not heard of ppl crashing so fast though.

Tyu here, on my second account because my main account still has forum suspension due to a bug (i apparently shouldn’t have been able to use forums at all after a ban but i could so they suspended me till the ban worked) although my ban is lifted.

Please remember that just because i was forgiven, does not mean everyone will. Don’t share your accounts like i did even if you trust the people. That was my biggest mistake.

I know this topic is not mine to use but it has been mostly about me so i thought i should share the result here. Also for anyone wondering why anyone would have more than 1 account, it is pretty challenging to control 2 accounts efficiently and that let me enjoy farming more. Instead of getting bored and sleepy.
