For me, I initially feared it was a bug, then a hack, then April 1st sprung to mind and I thought to myself, you got me!

With a grin on my face and a little laugh I did my best and participated in your fun for a while.

Now don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a good laugh, a joke or three and even the odd prank, but I also know when enough is enough and what may have been fun for a few moments did not last for me.

So to this joker, the prankster that sadly doesn’t know when to stop and can’t be turned off, you’ve won this round as my patience and mettle has been tested enough.

Have fun out there as the last laugh is on me as I now log off for today leaving not a chance of you earning even a penny from me!

This crash to desktop as I leave a dungeon group started for me yesterday.

After playing around with in-game settings that didn’t fix it, I thought I needed some driver updates, so I did that, but it is still crashing to desktop every time I complete and leave a dungeon group.

The GW2 sound file that was playing at the time of the crash continues to play despite the crash.

This is driving me crazy too. I’ve been searching to see how to disable and I’ve had no luck thus far

You could try:

Options Menu [F11], then Sound Options, then slide the Voice Dialog option to the far left (off) position or to a volume level that suites you.

Keep in mind that this will reduce some relevant game dialog / voice content as well, so it is not a fix.

Same for me, hit 99% with 1024mb downloaded and the speed dropped from around 650kb/s to approx 50kb/s.

At a guess, it is probably just the demand.

Thanks for the reply Bardy, it does make sense not to allow your nearly dead pets to be continually swapped out during combat and I agree, they would be rather overpowered… However, I wasn’t very clear in my original post so I still have my question, sorry about that.

I was wondering about the CD time on when you are not in combat and go into Pet Management using the “K” key and there is a CD preventing you from changing you pet line up.

It appears to be not overly long, but I have no idea what the cool down time is, so hoping someone might know?

Hi, I am levelling my first Ranger at the moment and wondering what the Pet Swap CD time is?

At first, I thought something bugged out, not allowing me to swap my first pet, then after taming a few more pets, I noticed I couldn’t change any of my pets which prompted me to search the web where I found lots of references to pet swap CD’s, but nothing explaining the reasoning behind the restriction.

Also, can someone please explain to me why we need a CD on swapping pets?

Does anyone know if I can upgrade a standard copy of GW2 to the digital deluxe version?

I already have one digital deluxe version purchased in 2012, but tried to purchase another one for a family member from the official GW2 shop, but they seem to have stopped selling the digital downloads in the UK? (Strange, but the UK countries don’t seem to be listed to be able to complete the online transaction.)

So I purchased a standard copy of GW2 from Amazon as they don’t seem to sell hard copy deluxe editions…

Hope someone can answer my question as I can’t find any useful info on this subject anywhere on the forum or search engines.

Just an FYI — what you pulled from your collectibles tab in your bank is not the Golem Banker, that would be the golem mini-pet.

I had retrieved the Golem Banker from the bank, which means the little banker must not have been put in there as a collectible, but manually put into himself whilst out and about… oops, my mistake!

Any how, you had me thinking what came of my little mini-pet which I thought I had lost on day one of my journey…. hmm… which in turn had me check the bank again and sure enough, there he is, safely locked away as a collectible

Problem Solved.

Just went to the Banker located in Divinity’s Reach on Dwayna High Road near the Ministers Waypoint.

I was then able to retrieve my little Golem Banker buddy and put him in my bag

Just gotta remember not to click Deposit All Collectables whilst I have the Golem Banker in my bag as it would mean a trip back to the bank… or leave him at the bank

Hi all,

I activated my Golem Banker today and now he has gone?

I am aware he will only last for 4 days, but he only lasted a few minutes?

He was there one minute and gone the next, so how do I summon the little mobile banker again?

I think he is in the bank….. not sure, but I do know that I cliked options from the Inventory menu and then clicked Deposit All Collectables and now he has gone?

Is there a short cut key or something I can use to get him back as all of my stuff is in his safe little hands. oops…
