I’m not saying I haven’t missed something, but every area does say 100% complete so short of running through every single area and hitting every single point of interest I’m not sure what to do. Even if support could just tell me which zone it is if I am missing one due an area completion glitch it would be much appreciated so I didn’t have to run through the whole world again

Thank you Shadow, yeah my cities all say the proper number of Points of Interest and I counted/compared mine. I did just now look at the commonly missed areas on the link you gave me and I have all three. I will check the completion table now. I love any and all suggestions as I just can’t stand having this unresolved, it’s messing with my obsessive compulsive nature that I can’t get to the finish line! I don’t care about crafting a legendary atm the moment so the reward isn’t my motivation, the satisfaction of completing this goal is.

Thank you for the suggestion. I spent the last 2 hours running around the cities and cross referencing my map with the ones from gw2.mmorpg-life.com and I can’t find any points of interest that I am missing Everyone that shows on their maps I have on mine.

I should’ve have reached world map completion yesterday after finishing my final zone but I am showing 1 missing POI on the world map. Every area is showing 100% completion and I received the rewards for completing each area as well. I already had the Chantry of Secrets POI but attempted 6 times to revisit it in hopes that this would solve my problem after reviewing suggestions online. I have also mapped to every city and explore-able area in another attempt to rectify the issue, as well as visiting the last POI attained as also suggested. I have sent a support ticket but had no response and have exhausted all the options recommended online that I could find to fix this issue.

Howdy
Been playing GW2 for about a month a half, started with a ranger that I leveled to 80 but once there I immediately ditched her and started leveling a mesmer which I like much better. Just leveled her to 80 but I am still a noob and have so many questions.
First, it seems like everyone prefers berserkers armor. I spent yesterday leveling to 400 in tailoring but I can’t afford the mats or to buy from the trading post a full set of exotic berserkers armor. I don’t have enough Karma either. I’ve read places that people want you to have a full set of exotic armor to run dungeons so I guess those will have to wait. I was able to buy a full set of rare lvl 80 berserkers armor. Now I need runes and upgrades for them but again, I don’t have that much gold so I can’t afford the more exp ones atm. What affordable ones would you guys suggest?
And weapons- I’ve just been playing PVE,and that along with dungeons, will be my primary focus once I’m geared better. I watched the comprehensive mesmer guide which really helped and he seemed to favor staff sword/focus so that’s what Ive been using with success. What weapons do you guys rec and what base stats/upgrades should I look for with those?

I’m new to GW2 and to the mesmer class. Bought the game at Beta but coming from a deeply obsessed place with GW1 and the initial balance in GW2 put me off. Just came back about a month ago and started with a ranger. Took my ranger to 80 and didn’t understand the ranger haterade. Decided to level another class and went with Mesmer since it was a favorite profession in the original game. Once at level 30 I was able to pull and wipe mobs 3x the size of the ones I did while playing ranger. I literally felt like a maestro controlling these poor helpless suckers that were dying with my finger strokes. I heard angels singing and knew of all the classes in GW2 Mesmer was the one for me. I don’t have any epic tales from dungeons, pvp, or wvw yet….But I will!

I take issue with the “Invisible” status as well. I recently had an ex find me in game and when I would change my status to invisible he could still tell I was online and would start messaging me. Now I know I can block people, but shouldn’t I be able to choose if people can tell I’m online or not? I much preferred the offline status in GW1. Sometimes I’d like to be completely invisible and not have to explain to my friends why I want some solo time.

Solo PVE is my primary interest too, and I as well chose a ranger as my first profession to take to 80. I found once I reached level 80 I grew both bored and frustrated with the ranger for soloing. You are primarily a single target dps which makes taking down mobs a pain bc it takes a bit. Where you can just run through mobs and explore easier in lower level areas you cannot do that in the higher level ones, requiring you to slowly pick off NPCs one at a time. I switched to Mesmer and I LOVE IT for soloing. It was slower to level initially but once I was at level 30 I could intentionally pull large mobs and take them out so much quicker and easier than I did with my ranger. This could just be me, and one day I’ll dust my ranger off and see, but so far, I find the mesmer much more fun and effective to run around with. The clones/illusions can also act your “meat shields” so to speak taking a bit of the heat off you which I appreciate, though you still need to be adept at dodge/rolling.
