So, I need make this statement, why for the paste two pvp seasons has it been feeling that only three or four builds are the only option? Specifically the thief decap, the dragon hunter power bomb, the necromancer condi, and the sometimes okay warrior with great sword. I play Engineer, thief, and warrior primary in pvp. But yet.. no matter what build I come up with or challenge in unranked or ranked pvp, if I face the dragon hunter or even a warrior with a great sword. It’s not a competition, it’s simply a slaughter, I can’t even place it down to a simple lack of skill. Currently here in Season six of pvp league, it’s a mentality of play dragon hunter or go home. Not even a strategy is placed. But if the enemy team has more dragon hunters then my team.. they win. This isn’t even just pushing at dragon hunters alone. It’s all the problems with pvp league right now. The duo/solo que only. Not allowing players to team up for a real strategy or even with friends. It’s quite possible to do duo/solo que up and have a separate five man team que up. But right now it’s no strategy, play the most power meta, don’t talk, then leave a match. The current situation of pvp is very dull, noncompetitive, and quite in a spot of failure. There are some serious changes that do need to be made by the developer team on all things PvP. But.. the mentality that has come to PvP is even worse, and sadly.. will never be fixed. With the idea of metas as the only way to play, custom builds are a thing.. but when facing a player of equal skill level playing a meta.. yer chances of winning are very low. I suggest opening the doors to 5 man ques.. showing a true balance patch, not just a power up on all classes. ’Cause the community sees that this is not working. Arena Net, you should also see that this is not working either.
