Exactly the same as the above, everything worked perfectly until today’s patch downloaded. I will also submit a ticket, I hope this gets solved today…
Exactly same problem, location: northern Europe. Other internet works fine.
Exactly the same here, glad it’s not something from my part because I’ve tried everything.
I hope Anet will fix it soon!

I used the reddit fix and the advice in this thread and it is now working:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/Client-not-loading-with-new-update/page/2
Was wondering if anyone else had issues, because my net seems fine otherwise. Was at Teq when I first got severe lag, then dc’ed 3 times, the last time coming back to a bugged guild (appears as I has non), then trying to change character because I wont be able to get Teq at that point only to be unable to get further than the character screen. Restart the entire thing… same problem. Gave up, tried again later. Still nothing.
The Reddit suggested fix won’t work for me. Did submit a ticket though.
Same issue here.
The hosts change worked for a brief time, but not anymore.
I can’t log in either. Get the error message:
The game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait bla bla…
Worked perfectly yesterday when the patch came though.
I restarted my rooter and pc now and it worked, that after 1 hr and a half, dunno if they fixed it or it’s because of what I did
I switched to google dns in my adapter settings and everything seems to be working as normal. Interestingly, I could previously access the forums but not guildwars2.com directly..
Hey gang,

Same error that occured first time ever last night, happening now.
And I’m from Finland (Northern Europe), playing on Desolation.
Tried pinging and had exactly same 100% packet losses as TooNu.4530 have above my post.
Everything was fine for today until 10min ago. I could not load Caledon even if MapLoadCompletion was at 100% and after I managed to load the map(3-4 tries) I had 1min+ lag….
