If it’s temperature, there’s not much Anet can do, but then, assuming it is just seems like a stab in the dark in the first place (if not a bad one; the game DOES run machines hot).

Install MSI afterburner and run it while the game is running; use it to check your temperatures from time to time. If that’s the problem, it’s a good program to tweak your GPU.

To address with more obvious sources of problems, you have updated your drivers to the latest version, right?

The temperature of my of my GPU is around 50/60 degrees (Celsius). And yes I updated my drivers. I check every month and a half or so. I’ll install MSI afterburner and see what I can do. But since I underclocked my GFX card I have less crashes.

I don’t really know how to do that, I think I’ve done it and it is working, though the port test worked at first as well. Thanks anyway.

edit: I just crashed, but I just boosted the clock just a bit so it might be only because of that.

Hi. I’ll open my own topic, since the technical support is not doing his job. I have been experiencing crashes every 10mins or so, sometimes less sometimes more. Some days I only have 1 or 2 crashes. I run on windows 7 64bits. I provided every informations possible to anet, they are not answering, so I’ve got to come here.
I send them everything they asked (crash reports, speccy files and game advisor), I repaired the archive like 5 times, I did the ‘port test’ thingy, nothing do.

So I come here to get some answers.

ps: and apparently you can’t add more than 1 attachments. Nice.

I just hope Anet acknowledges this specific issue, with the corrupt file error. Before these forums were up I was afraid I was the only one, or one of few getting this error. On other fan sites I was seeing mainly things about crashes with memory problems..just glad to see I’m not alone on this.

Same, but I asked around and few people of my acquaintance did have crashes as well. To answer your previous question, my computer is a custom build, and repairing didn’t do anything. The support is still not answering to me though, and that’s annoying.

edit: I didn’t get a crash at all this my last post. The only thing I did was the -repair and the port test. The port test might have fixed the issue. I’ll have to see.

I have the exact same problem. Sometimes it gets worse, like a crash every 3 minutes, or when I just launched the game. Sometimes I go on without a single crash for like 3 hours. I have been in contact with the technical support since day 1 basically. They asked me information about all sorts of things, but they didn’t give me any clear answer. Just asking me for more information or simply not answering unless you spam them.
At first I thought this was because of my PC since it is kind of old, but I’ve run some tests and I am more than able to run gw² (and I never had any problems before).
Oh and to me this happened during BWE3.
