Oh sweet, ty Donari.
Though, at the same time, I still wish I could dye all the sylvari weapons any color that I had unlocked.
I love the variety of cultural armor and dyes available in-game to dye these armors.
What I’d love to see implemented into the game is the ability to dye weapons and shields. For example, I have five Sylvari, but only one of them has Green leaves, the others have blue, red, yellow, and purple skin.
This means that the cultural Sylvari armor looks bad on ’em because there are no blue, red, yellow or purple Sylvari weapons or shields.
Please allow us to be able to dye the Sylvari weapons and shields so that they match perfectly with the color of our leafy armor.
Oh, thank you so much! =]
Hey guys,
I am having some difficulty trying to remove just 1 item from a whole stack of that item. What are the buttons that I have to press to remove, say, just 1 copper ore from a bundle of 24?
Thanks
Yes you can map a key to swim down, I have it linked to V.
I press X for swimming down. I’ve also mapped / for /walk. =]
I agree that it would be awesome if ANet added more hairstyles for the Sylvari. I would love to see longer locks for the females, especially something with some flowers added into the hair.
I agree. The majority of the female Sylvari hairstyles remind me of men’s hairstyles. Two of them are actually female—the ponytail and the LOTSA HAIR one which most NPCs have.
I ended up choosing the ponytail on mine so that my sylvari would feel like a female. Would be great if we could get long hair for female sylvari. The male hairstyles are great.
Although, as Sylvari both males and females can tweak their hair a little bit with some of the racial armor. I know that males and females can both get really long dreadlocks in the form of roots, and the male tier 2 cloth has spiked hair.
I truly love my toons’ Town Clothes. All of my guys are below level twenty, and so wearing town clothes makes me truly feel like my toons are wearing their racial armor.
In fact, I spend the entirety of my time out of combat in town clothes because I love its look. That’s a lot of H, mouse over the top hat, click action. =P
Please add a button on the Controls menu which allows us to press 1 button to equip Town Clothes.
It would make me super happy.
I respectfully disagree with the OP. I love GW2’s PvP because it’s the complete opposite of that of WoW. In WoW you can’t just PvP. No. You have to spend months farming gear. In order to get that gear you have to die continually at the hands of people who have PvP gear. They chop you in half, and you spend the majority of your time feeling like you cannot contribute at all to the game because you haven’t farmed for months PvP gear.
I will literally stop PvPing if GW2 also chooses to go the way of Resilience gear and “better PvP gear for more time spent PvPing.” That is not why I PvP. I PvP because I enjoy fighting other players on equal terms.
PvP to me does not mean “grind” or “farm armor.” That is called “grinding and farming armor.” That’s not what I want out of this MMO. I am completely against Arenas if they give you better PvP gear. I’m fine with them if they do not give you better PvP gear.
The people who play a lot of PvP should not be made stronger through armor at PvP just because of time spent PvPing. PvP should be done on equal footing.
haha yeah, I hear you, man. They look awesome, and would probably go very well with a dark-bark skin tone for Sylvari—or anyone who wants to look awesome. =P
I want a plant Skale so bad. I love how they hop around like squirrels. Evil squirrels with sharp claws that want to eat me.
I am for mounts if they do not increase your ground speed. There should not be any flying mounts as that takes away from the grandeur that is Tyria.
I am currently leveling a Sylvari Ranger, and I absolutely love my Fern Hound. I love that he’s also a plant-based entity, and would truly love it if we were able to tame more plant-based animals.
I’d love for you guys (GW2) to design some plant-based birds, plant-based aquatic creatuers, and plant-based big terrestrials such as plant bears, plant lizards, etc.
I love the variety in pets, however I feel that they clash with my character being a Sylvari.
It’s really easy to tame any pet with Humans or Norns and to have the pet match their master’s overall appearance, but this is difficult to do with Sylvari.
Thank you very much for an amazing game!
