how did you test this? does the pulsing area in the training area trigger the rune or something?
No it doesn’t. You either have to calculate the thorns stacks dps, or what i did is:
I just removed 150 condi dmg from the nightmare/trapper variant and the result i got was about the same dps as thorns runes with 0 stacks. As a conclusion thorns stacks with 3 stacks should do the same dps as normal nightmare/trapper.

The dps difference of thorns runes with 0 stacks and the nightmare/trapper setup is about 1,3k. As i said bevore 3 thorns stacks will push it to the same dmg as nightmare/trapper(32k) and every additional stack will make it better then the nightmaree/trapper variant.
The sigils in the thorns setup are: agony/geomancy. Smoldering isn’t worth taking.

Thorns runes are better for Condi Ranger in raids. At 3 thorns stacks their dps is about the same. At 4/5 stacks thorns does higher dps.
All chars are made the same RELATIVE size. Charrs are still huge, and due to their posture and movement animations (loping on all fours) it is actually harder to do any JP on a Charr.
JPs being harder on Charr is true for normal JPs, but in SAB every char gets downscaled to asura size.
I play a full-size, fat charr and did all of the tribulation levels 16 times.
So? All chars have the same size in SAB. Being a charr or a norn doesnt make it harder.
If you’re so bad at SAB you could have just bought the infusion. Tons of ppl are selling tribulation runs on LFG.
Natural Convergence has much weaker base-dmg stats in PVE then in PVP. Is that intended?
I’ll just make clear what i mean by shoving the base-dmg numbers with zerker gear. For comparison i’ll use Rapid Fire.
PVE: Rapid Fire: 3,8k; Natural Convergence: 450 per Pukse 1,2k Final Pulse
PVP: Rapid Fire: 3,3k; Natural Convergence: 700 per Pulse 1,8k Final Pulse.
