Making JQ full and unlinked guarantees they stay T2 for a long time to come. TC without a link can’t compete in T1. Mag and YB linked and open mean they stay top tier, BG perma full but rightly so (even though its unfair that mag stays open).
But then they make weird matchups -
FA are going to lose every single skirmish this week. Everyone hates being placed in a matchup with YB – but you put 2 extremely volatile servers JQ and TC with them (as if trying to get them to implode).
Only goal I see is encouraging transfers. Maybe they see that WvW volatility can be lucrative ($20+ a pop to a “very high” server) and are going to milk it dry rather than actually making it fun and fair.
This is exactly it, they see an opportunity for $$$$, so screw logic and the players… just chase the dollars.
Except, that is utterly flawed as they’ll just keep losing players. No players, no income…

You give the server winning T1 a link? lolwut? Who is making these decisions? And could you please explain them? I think we’d all like to be enlightened on this since it seems pretty nonsensical.
You prefered they’d give a link to a Full server like JQ or BG? Also ET and AR are problably the smallest servers out there. Their presence isn’t significant to the blobfest that is T1. The only issue will be if these server get Bandwagoned like it happened in the first link.
I’d prefer if they followed the pattern from the last 2 times…where the servers in T1 get no links, the rest of the servers do. There has to be a pattern here, you don’t just go and give 2 of the T1 servers links for no reason.
But there is a reason, I bet that reason is that those two servers spent more money on gems n crap than the others.

You know… FA’s been Full/Very High since the population calculation change over a year ago and hanging around rank 6. Anet at the time said some servers marked Full were overstacked well beyond the Full status (like BG still is). When JQ was Very High, you guys still brought out numbers that FA could almost compete with. I don’t honestly know how you expect not to go Full when you can outnumber FA at times and then go and recruit. T2 “size” is basically the new max server size you have to get used to, not the old overstacked T1 sizes. It really sounds like you need to trim players in certain timezones if you want to fill other timezones.
Its not about just being full its not getting a link. Anet has just literally destroyed JQ. Well done anet.

Kinda have to agree here, last I was on JQ ~40 minutes ago all BL\EBG were outmanned… on a kitteng reset night.
Edit: just checked, now there is a queue of 10 on EBG…

There’s hundreds of players who have fallen off just waiting to come back and say shut up and take my money.
I really wish they would understand this… I’ve dumped a lot of money in other games… not necessarily proud of it, but there are tons of people out there with disposable income that they can bring back if they just fix some of the issues that have already been outlined here and thus.. raise profits.
Title + Basically I have ~ 5 lvl 80’s and am having a rough time gathering the motivation to level the others, is there a quick way to get them to lvl 80 such as Tomes of Knowledge or similar?

The exact reason I will never buy another game from this company again. I pre-purchased the original GW2 due to dumping years into the GW"1" series, took leave while I was in the Marine Corps for two weeks just so I could play… and then this? Sorry…. stuff it… I am done.
Edit: I should mention, that I was actually coming back tonight to check everything out and perhaps purchase, but with everything that I am seeing… don’t think I am going to dump any more cash into them.
