Major Lag/Constant Disconnect

I was just wondering if other people were having this issue. I’m from the Midwest/US, and was wondering if it was possibly a server issue or not. I just got off the phone with my internet provider and nothing was found to be wrong on their end.

I’m super not tech savy so if you need any other information from me, if it is just an issue on my part, you’ll have to tell me how to find other specific information. Hahaha ha ah…

It started happening last night around 10pm Central time while doing the Winter Wonderland jumping puzzle and was constantly lagging and disconnecting from maps and the game entirely. The issue has not resolved itself.

Transferring NA vs. EU - Off Hours Dilemma

Thank you so much for your inputs! I made a free account to test the NA server and talked to a few people in game and found that I did enjoy the community there and amount of activity in the times I am online. Thank you for the suggestion on servers!

I hope this is the right section to post this but here is my situation:

When I first joined GW 3 or so years ago, my friend at the time talked me into joining the EU server (I’m from the US). I have long since been abandoned by them, and while I have made some good friends since then I find I keep joining guilds but then am never on during the time guilds are most active. I’m usually on the most somewhere between 9pm – 2am (USC) ((Which is basically the dead of night/very early morning for the EU server)).

I’m starting to debate transferring over to the NA server, so I have more people to play with at those times, but I am afraid to make the switch and find it no different than EU. Not sure if anyone can give me advice, but I would like to hear what people think!

Well night 2 and things were going good until at 99% and 4 files to go, then it was the same thing over again. Someone messaged me a way to reset my IP address, but that made no difference unfortunately. Have seriously spent about 6 hours today trying to get this to work and about 6 hours last night. I also filed a support ticket. Ugh.

I decided to try reinstalling the whole game again. Whoa. BIG mistake. Now that won’t even download either. Going to call it quits and hope tomorrow is better, but now I don’t even have the game installed on my computer. Blargh. And I still had something to do for the remaining Wintersday left overs.
