Question about Epidemic (Mostly for the Devs)

I was just wondering if it is possible to code it so epidemic does not target invulnerable targets, and thus waste the target space that should go to mobs that can be damaged. This can be seen easily in the Xera fight, because often the projectiles go to the orbs that spawn mobs, without doing anything, or the mobs that are still invulnerable for a decent duration. Plus, epi likes to miss quite a lot in the Ark fight (the CM part when the phase splits and new mobs come in). If it is possible, is there a reason why it isn’t implemented, because it just seems odd that a skill that you cannot control the targets, can target something that is immortal. Thank you, and any player feedback is nice too.

Level 80 Boost Placement

The level 80 boost, for some reason is placed in my 4th shared inventory slot, which is annoying because I do not plan on using it yet, and just want to save it for a bit. I know I am not alone with this issue, because the level 80 boost tends to appear randomly among the shared inventory slots. This is a little bit irritating, for somebody who likes to keep their inventory clean and organized. I understand this is a small thing, but it would be great if we could move the shared inventory slot that contains the level 80 boost, or even move the boost itself to another slot. I am not sure how the tech works, but if we are able to move regular bags around, I do not think it would be THAT difficult to move shared inventory slots. I know this is a small issue, but it would be amazing if it would be fixed, thank you!

There is a bug sometimes with the medusa/fear attack on the final boss during CM. Sometimes even though you clearly look away from the boss the attack will still hit you. I know there are some good videos out there that show the bug, specifically some CM kills on Youtube. To my understanding you have to wait until that “solar wave” passes you in order to turn back around, but even knowing that the attack sometimes will hit as if you were looking right at it. Also, you said some improvements, does that mean aoe’s (red circles) are less likely to spawn in the doom bubbles? Also, a question about the green circles, is it a bug that they sometimes appear and then disappear and then reappear on the same person, like it activates twice. That mechanic in general feels buggy. Lastly, projectile destruction does not work very well on the orb attack, which makes it fairly difficult to deal with, will we be able to use more projectile destruction (for example putting a corrosive cloud over the boss to destroy the projectile, because as of now the arc “hehe” of the cannon shot is strange so that the orbs can go over most projectile conversions, such as sublime conversion. Thank you for all the work on this fractal it has been amazing to play, except that darn 40%. As a side note I agree that the rewards for the CM could be a little better, considering how difficult the final encounter it, compared to the 99 CM, so I believe the rewards should compensate for the difficulty.

Storm Bouquet on Kodama

Even though I was not on “A Henge Away From Home” Kodama still took 5 charged lodestones, even though it was just supposed to be a charged bouquet. In other words, it allowed me to give Kodama something for a collection that I had not unlocked, so it just stole the charged runestones, and even if I look at the next collection (albeit it is still locked) it marks it as if I turned in nothing. So Kodama took something he should not have been able to do yet (There was an option for both a storm bouquet and a charged bouquet so I gave him the storm one, but since the collection was not unlocked yet, it did nothing). I understanding it is only 5 charged lodestones I lost, but that is still around 10 gold, and if this is happening a lot then that is a lot of gold that is going away.

Just reporting that in the Spelunker’s Delve Jumping Puzzle the lighting is completely messed up, and is far too bright. (I am on the lowest setting, but I believe this is the fact for all settings).

I totally agree with this. I have been trying to use the lock nearest instead of autolock, but I have small hands so I have to bind that to the shift key, and sometimes it copies the move I used, because I click moves….and then I accidentally post it to map chat and I look dumb.

Since the beginning there has always been that one thing that bothered me about this game. That would have to be that when a ranger swaps to a different pet the name resets. This means that every time a ranger wants to change pets he or she has to rename it. I do not understand why this is such an issue to fix. I have played many other games where the pet’s name stays. For example World of Warcraft, or Runescape. In Runescape there is a Ninja team that fixes these small bugs and I believe that Guild Wars 2 needs one as well. There are many little inconveniences that could be fixed to make this game not only good, but great. Please show some support for this thread, so together we can make a change!

Not really all you need is one or two words per pet. A text document for example is extremely small. Even on a large scale the amount of space it would take is not huge. Anyway keep making this thread huge until we get Arena Net to listen we CAN do it!

Hello fellow rangers, and I have been playing this game as a ranger for a long time now, and if there is one thing that makes me angry with this game would be that when a ranger swaps to a new pet (not one of the two a ranger can quick swap to) the name resets. Everytime I need to use a different set of pets the names remove. As a more of a roleplay kind of player I build a relationship with my pets and when I swap back I have to remember the name and rename it everytime. It makes me not want to swap pets. Can we get all the supporters of this together so that Arena Net can fix this. I feel as if it would be an easy fix, just to have the type of pet stay with a certain name. Please lets get everybody together to fix this!!!
