Checking back in with this thread! Fingers crossed that Howler gets some love come HoT’s release.

I finally finished crafting Howler this past month. After having wanted it for two years, I am thrilled to have completed it. I do have to agree with the rest of the posters on this thread though. Compared to the other legendary weapons, Howler might as well be just a fancy exotic. The effects are, well, not particularly legendary. I’d love to see the full moon return, perhaps an enhanced footprint (maybe even bring the moon into the footstep or wolf paw prints), and I’d love to have the howl be a distinctive feature. I’ve gone through the effort of crafting a legendary, the only one that really fit with my main, and I’d kind of like to be able to show off a bit.

I’ve opened about 4k and have gotten 5 Unbreakable Bells, one Magnanimous Choir Bell, one Rebreather, one Ho-Ho-Tron Mini, 2 Toymakers tonics, three recipes for the Wintersday toy tonics and way more luck than I feel like clicking. I’d say RNGesus is with me this holiday season.

I am also experiencing this bug as of yesterday’s patch. My LFG tool is flickering open parties, but I cannot join them as they disappear too quickly for me to click on.

Wintersday can’t come soon enough. <3

It would be cool to see different icons as well, but that’s less of a concern as my server has just dedicated colors to each of the tags. Yellow is a guild commander, Purple is our multipurpose tag for havoc squads or golem/mesmer commander during rushes, etc. It’s been working quite well for us.

I appreciate your response, but don’t really understand it. Are you completely disregarding the fact that there are multiple sets of fire related gear already in place in the game? Or that one of the playable races lives in a constantly winter climate?

It has nothing to do with elementalists and everything to do with a preferred aesthetic.

That being said, I’ve been hoping for ice themed armor sets for my Norn since I started playing two years ago. Kodan armor is about as close as you can get, but it’s not quite living up to the dream.

I want ice crystals like the Wintersbite bow, sharp enough to kill a man. I want frosty effects, like the glow on the endless supply of fire themed armors. I want snowflakes.

Anyone else feeling me here?

You guys at least keep your look consistent. The images Dulfy.net posted for the full Radiant gear are disappointing, especially for medium wearers.

I want curls. The closest hairstyle to it is a short wavy bob, but it’s not what I’m looking for. I want wild wolf-woman curls.

Gwynefyrdd is only acquired as a very rare drop from Trick or Treat bags. 75 laurels will take you time, but you’ll certainly be able to purchase Goedulf. So I’d say it’d be far easier (and less expensive an adventure) to just do your dailies for two+ months.

It took me just under 3,000 bags to find Gwynefyrdd. I had pretty much given up, but decided to buy one final stack of Trick or Treat bags. On the seventh one of the stack, I saw the icon and might have deafened everyone on Teamspeak. Keep trying, friends. Don’t give up hope!

I’d love to see more guild management functions. Even at 193 members, going through the roster is a terrible process. Being able to send one mass mail to the guild to see who’s active and wishes to remain in the guild would help us out greatly.

I mean, I’d really like more character options overall, but eyebrows. Definitely. I know it’s a small thing, but those details are important to me.

I’m having the same problem. Have completed 7 of the tasks, one of which being the devotee achievement and yet only 6 are showing.

It’s also bugged in Northern Shiverpeaks.

It’s been bugged in Shiverpeaks for at least two weeks now. I’ve checked in regularly to see if anything has been altered, but as of yet the only change I’ve seen is the listed number of cows remaining. Generally it says there are two or three, but there are never any cows to be found on the farm grounds. Just endless waves of Harpies.
