I think people overstate the effect of orbs. No question that it has an impact and I agree it needs changing, but I think the effect is far more psychological than actual. This is certainly not the reason everyone is losing.

The biggest reason melee gets screwed out of loot bags is that they drop on the ground where you were a few seconds ago, so if you are constantly moving and dodging, you will never be where the loot bags are. And if you are standing still in the middle of the enemy zerg as a melee class, you are dead.

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve missed out on loot because of this exact thing. Melee warrior here.

They would also need to not be able to select anything i.e. doors or walls of keeps/towers for this to work.

Wouldn’t it be nice if they just combined all four maps into one huge map? Yes? No?

Does Anvil Rock even have any guild alliances? I love playing WvWvW but it’s really annoying when I get in there just to see chat aflame withkitten crap and everyone running around like a chicken w/ it’s head cut off. There never seems to be any organization. Of course this is just my opinion but it’s what I’ve experienced while being on AR.

I’ve had the game since headstart and had no issues logging in, but now I’m having the exact same issue as the OP. Any help would be great.
