Congratulations to you! I got my email as well, but my hubby didn’t get one. I’m very excited!!
I did!! I was quite shocked to find the email. I am super excited. My husband, did not get an invite, but he can watch me play hehe
Here’s my Necro, January Dusk. I love how the Grenth Wintersday mask completes her look.
Here is my Sylvari Necromancer. Definitely a bit cliche’ for a Necro, but I love it! The Wintersday Grenth mask completed her look! Her name is January Dusk.
I would say 8/10 for all of them maybe an 8.5 I think what brings you down is Shaela Raven (in my opinion, of course) needs like some kind of kicker. Ravensdottir or Ravenkin or something to show her lineage. And Vesinae sounds Latin
My Norn’s name is Helena Solskinhar (surname is Norwegian for sunshine hair). She’s a blonde guardian!
9/10
I like how it sounds, like how it rolls off the tongue, nice!
My Asura’s name is Anii the Overbold
She may be small, but she has a big personality!
8/10 I think it’s funny to gear (ha) the name to the profession! Lost a point because I like longer names :P
One of my Sylvari names is Inna Gadda Davida (old Iron Butterfly song, supposed to be In the Garden of Eden, for those youngin’s who haven’t heard the song)
#3
I was quite partial to #2 but, I felt #3 fit my female ranger a bit better.
I think Magick Mushroom is hilarious!! Solid 9/10! (hilarious, but not epic…)
My Sylvari’s name is Inna Gadda Davida. (Based on the Iron Butterfly tune)
Here’s my mesmer, Mariposa De Muerta (butterfly of death) I think the name fits everything going on there! Plus, she carries a large greatsword and is never seen without her pink Quaggan backpack!!
This is Oblina Moongleam. She’s a necromancer and reminds me of a cross between a Ritualist and a Norn. Some kind of Norn shaman or something. In certain lights her hair and tattoo seem to glow!

I’m a casual gamer and prefer PvE over PvP. My husband and I have our own guild, and quest by ourselves, mostly. I don’t understand why every holiday or special event has to center around a dungeon where you need to have to engage in another group. I’m not totally anti-social, I enjoy world events. I just don’t enjoy LFG. I know it’s probably just me, but that’s my honest opinion.
In the original GW I loved playing as a Necro. I tried Assassin and it just didn’t feel right. It was reversed for me in GW2. I liked the rhythm of the gameplay, the armors, the look in general, of the Thief.
I use the wurm with my thief. It gives me a little extra oomph when I’m in a particularly tough situation. Seems to work well when I bring out my thieves guild and my thief trap. I think I’m going to try the owl just to see how the bleeding stacks up with some of my other skills.
