Hi all,
Got a level 24 guard and want to have a go at wvw some time, prob running with whatever group/zerg/thing is around.
Can anyone give me some simple advice about a basic starting point? Not looking to be great, just mildly useful.
- you get auto-levelled to 80, but without access to a lot of skills/traits/whatever. When is the earliest level you can realistically go and not be useless?
- what weapons should I take, and are there any killer-apps on weapon skills I should know about?
- I guess I’ll put points into toughness and vitality to stay alive, any very-obviously-useful trait-skill choices there?
- I don’t know the names of all the skills very well, so abbreviations are just confusing!
Again, I’m not after a pro-build, cos I’m not that skillful yet (and cba anyway), just after any simple tips to make myself more useful while I’m learning the ropes.
Thanks
Am about to take my L45 ranger into wvw for the first time and was planning to go longbow – sword/warhorn, and, yes, bear.
What is it that new players do, or don’t do, when running ‘bearbow’ that makes it so unpopular?
Thanks
