Or we should just make it that trolls on turrets die if they don’t have 2,3,4,5 on cooldown.

So I just read that turret users, ressers, people defending turrets don’t get credit for taking down Tequatl.
I sat through 10 encounters strategizing for almost 10 hours making corrections and theorycrafting how to take him down. But now this…if you don’t attack Tequatl you get 0 credit?
Why should I defend turrets if I don’t get anything out of it? Teamwork? This event encourages teamwork yet it THROWS IT IN OUR FACES BECAUSE YOU ONLY GET CREDITED FOR ATTACKING TEQUATL….so what’s the point? They should’ve just left it as auto attack to win if they don’t credit the people who support the main DPS team.

So….why?

Ahaha, thanks for the quick replies, I went through most of my characters except for my oldest one(forgot about it). I now see my birthday gift.
I guess I should’ve checked more before posting. But thanks anyways!

A lot of my guild members received their birthday gifts as soon as their account’s age hit 365 days old.
Mine is already 366 but I haven’t received my gift yet?
I was told some people received two of them so….did mine magically go to them instead?

If DB wants to think they’ve actually accomplished something Epic while everyone sleeps, kudos to you.

But this #Fail matchup will be having long term affects where even the mythical’ February Patch’ won’t even be able to save it.

From my point of view DB’s NA crew is picking up. We used to never be able to even hold 1 supply camp when the night crew was away. Now it’s kinda changing.

Well, with the new culling implemented I can deal with small scale battles easier and I have less lag in huge battles but I need party members to call targets or I run blindly into zergs only to have them appear after I’ve been stomped, looking forward to improvements XD

Indeed, I used to go with the guild every single day to WvW about more than 60 members attended everyday. But after ascended came out, the most I can get to attend WvW is myself. I haven’t even done the new dungeon since I prefer pvp/wvw over PvE, but lately I’ve been thinking to myself. Why should I WvW? Take a keep, sleep come back it’s gone. I used to have to wait 1 to 2 hours all round to be able to get into any WvW map. Now I could jump at any time and 3 out of 4 maps would be outmanned. Now all I can ask is why WvW?

I agree, right now all I can use flanking strike is for running about but there are so many better alternatives for that. I tire of seeing my toon “flanking behind the target”(actually flying to the right and losing track of the target altogether) then seeing “Miss” because it actually wasn’t the target’s back. Sometimes when it actually works it spins TOO much and you end up in the same place you were before you executed flanking strike.

Don’t worry. You still have the weekend, monday, tuesday, wednesday. Or probably 2 days due to complete steamrolling. Still 2 whole days in WvW should ensure 50 kills.

Where to next?

I just used the mystic forge to merge 4 rare sigils and luckily got myself a superior sigil of speed. Looks pretty nice I must say but. Something’s off, I haven’t put it into any of my weapons to test it out but the sigil says after a kill I get 10 seconds of swiftness, but usually they should have cooldown timers after right?
This sigil I have doesn’t have a cooldown timer. Is this meant to be?

Same here. I completed the requirement yesterday before the patch.
My friend who hasn’t completed it also has the same problem.
Is this intended?

Yes just like dungeons have their own exclusive armor and weapon sets.
WvW has their own exclusive armor and weapon sets which require badges of honor which drop from player kills or jumping puzzles

A few of my friends who just got the game today just told me that they were unable to register due to the website giving error 502 and/or not responding when hitting the next button. Is this due to everyone trying to register at the same time or???

But it the icon shown is gloves.
