Guild Wars 2

Yeah, I’m familiar with that site, and while it is a useful resource it really isn’t what I am looking for. As you said above, I am sort of looking for a “dress-up” doll. Has anyone else heard of anything like this?

I was wondering if there was any way to preview armor styles, dyes, and weapons outside of the game (like some sort of app). Something like the in-game previewer is what I have in mind (so that you can try different dye combinations as well as mix and match armor pieces). I did a bit of Google-ing but I couldn’t find anything even remotely like this.

If anyone knows of something that can do these things then I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance!

That wasn’t my question. My question was HOW did he acquire the models/get the lighting and rendering right for the video. I want to make a GW2 video, but I don’t know where to get the models.

This is something that I have been wondering about for a long time. As an animator and video editor myself, I have been long wanting to do a GW2 video. And since we currently aren’t given the tools to make these (like WoW does), I was wondering if there was any way to do this. I saw that someone made a video with GW2 characters (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWCTlxEp6Ds) that appears to be made using animation program, but I don’t know how they did this. Any help would be much appreciated.

I was just going to ask about something similar to this. I just completed 100% of the world, and I got the chest with the 2 Gifts of Exploration. However, when I hit “M” to view the map, it now shows that I am missing one POI and that I am at 99%. I have also not received the title or the account badge. Any explanation?

I logged onto GW2 today for the first time in a month, since I heard about the new Achievement award chests. However, when I logged on, something very strange occurred. I clicked to receive a chest, but the contents were contradictory to what I found on the wiki. In the chest, I received:

1 Gold
1 Laurel
1 Bank Access Express
1 Copper Harvesting Sickle
1 Copper Logging Axe
1 Copper Mining Pick
1 Crafting Booster
1 Experience Booster
1 Instant Repair Canister
1 Karma Booster
1 Leather Bag (10-slots)
1 Magic Find Booster
1 PvP Glory Booster
1 Revive Orb
1 Sip of Liquid Karma

This, according to the wiki, is the 100 Achievement points award (except that it didn’t mention the gold or laurel). However, my character has 1880 achievement points. Why didn’t I get the other chests? Is this a bug? Also, the wiki doesn’t mention the skins as awards either. Is this a problem with the wiki or are they no longer an award?

Do you know where I can find these vendors in WvW, because I just checked and I didn’t see any new skins being offered.

I read somewhere that there were going to be 4 new rare weapon skin sets added to the Weapon Master in the Retribution patch (Aureate, Flame, Verdent, and Norn). However, I don’t know if this is true and/or where to find these skins. Any help/info would be much appreciated.
