it’s ridiculous crucial bug like this is being overlooked for years.
when you encounter this bug you have to quickly type emote in chat window(/dance etc)
there are similar bugs that are just being ignored by anet
in wvw:
get stuck building rams
-swap weapon to break free
get stuck building rams while being attacked(ac from tower etc)
-tank the damage for 9 sec, if still alive, swap weapon to break free
skills/utilities completely stopped responding
-take out and hold any siege blue print and put it back.
mouse left click target stopped working
-log off and restart your client
movement keys stopped responding
-use leap skills or type /dance in the chat window

maybe we weren’t loud enough? why hasn’t this fixed yet?
it may not look much but in heated battle, that locked backpedal animation could mean life or death. I already died couple of times due to this bug and now avoid using shortbow #3 skill.
lol, the last thing I would want is to have japanese console developer like fromsoftware optimizing pc mmo…

Less whine, more trying offered solution. GW2 is a CPU-heavy game. If you’re running max graphics, it’s no wonder you’re getting off almost no skills.
OP is complaining about skill lag caused by latency issue on the server, not the framerate or game performance.
it kittenes me off too when all my skills are just stop working in the middle of battle and I have to stand still or run around like an idiot while enemy gets an easy kill.
this bug has been around for awhile now. I think it only effects thief and it happens very occasionally. you get immobilized and your movement control just stop responding even after you clear the immobilize. I gotta use leap skill(heart seeker etc) to have my WASD start working again. happened to me twice today.
me and others have posted here and I also send in an in-game bug report but it is completely being ignored by anet. so don’t expect them to fix this anytime soon.
still broken. EB is unplayable right now. there aren’t many players around and I’m still having 3~4 second skill delay.

huge lag spike and constant DC.
borderland seems to be fine. it’s only happening in EB(ip 64.25.38.162)
I’ve been there for the first time today and I absolutely hate it. this map is surrounded by cliffs and you’ll see bunch of players abusing Mesmer focus #4 or necro fear and any knock back skills to make you fall to your death.
same. I don’t remember if I was cc’d but my movement control occasionally just stop working in the middle of fight . I can’t move at all unless I use leap skill.
yeah, scratch that. deleting local.dat didn’t fix the connection issue.
it seems I don’t get disconnected in the morning till around 5:00PM PST but as soon as clock hit 5:00PM PST my connection drops frequently with this error code every 10~20 min or so, making this game unplayable.
having a same disconnect issue with this error code since wintersday update.
DC seems to be worse around peak hours(5:00PM~9:00pm PST).
I’ve spoke with anet tech support and they asked me to contact my isp because the I’m getting booted due to high packet loss and it’s happening before it reaches their server and there’s nothing they can do about it.
I’m pretty much gave up at this point.
waiting for next living story update and hopefully it’ll get fixed.
have you tried deleting “local.dat” located in user/appdata/roaming/guild wars 2 ?
I’ve been constantly getting disconnected with this error code since the x-mas update but deleting local.dat file magically fixed the connection issue for me.
I even created a support ticket few weeks ago and they blame on my isp. I knew it wasn’t my isp because I do not have any issue with my other online games.

here’s new and old animation comparison in case anyone’s wondering what we’re talking about. difference is almost unnoticeable in the video but when you control your character, it’s night and day.
my female human runs like a rambo and my female asura constantly making an irritating sound. I’m having a real hard time getting used to these “changes”.
at first, I was pretty convinced that these weren’t intended but I’m not so sure now…
whoever responsible for these has too much time on thier hand.

you should’ve spent that time fixing other bugs in game that’s being overlooked.
there’s some kind of audio mix up for female asura as well. my asura character now constantly making an irritating moaning sound whenever I stomping someone in wvw or using an elite/healing skills. this sounds so odd and out of place it makes me wanna quit playing female asura character. something’s definitely not right…
as for the new running animtaion for human female…
I’ve used human female as my main since the game launch and seeing them running like a man with dislocated shoulders all of sudden really bothers me. not to metion I’m experiencing small graphical glitches like flickering armor since the change.
I notice the change too but the question is, is this intended change? or is it a bug?
shoulder movement looks very unnatural and it seems to me male’s running animation somehow got mixed up with female’s.

what kitten es me off is that something that I do always get broken with every single living story update. I guess anet wants us to stop what we’re doing and focus on new living story events.
whenever they annouce a new living story events it makes me nervous now.
it wouldn’t be so bad if the fights weren’t effected by the number of people/zerg farming below in crown pavilion. why didn’t they use instance for these fights is beyond me.
I somehow was able to manage previous fights with low fps but in this last fight, I constantly get one shotted because fight is so laggy that I can’t even see where the shadow falls are dropping.

same issue with everyone else here. I accidently destroyed my inspector kit and there’s no option to get it back. I can’t re-enter the instance.
