Tank (as far as ele is concerned) Condition Damage.

Traits (30 Fire, 30 Earth, 10 Water)
Skills (3 Cantrips; or 2 and Signet of toughness with Firey Greatsword always in elite

Gear

Carrion (insert piece) of the Undead x6

And i run Dagger Dagger.

I think ive given you enough info to understand my build. Very effective in groups for WvW and i NEVER die in a chase because i have auto targetting off so Ride the Lightning and the Charge on the elite dont run you back into people.

charge back; you have complete legal right to do so. I would not be surprised if there were mass charge backs at this rate.( I have atleast 3 friends thinking of it).
You could try to create a new ticket but make sure the information in it is 100% undoubtedly accurate so once they finally get round to it its a clear cut case of “give access to the game”
You would want dates/times if possible; character names if any; CD Key etc.

ArenaNet can’t be held responsible for compromises that occur outside their domain. If you overlap passwords or by any other means offer ways for your account to become compromised, you are solely to blame.

You miss the ENTIRE point of this thread.

Arena Net does not have the tools to help us defend our accounts basically; if you have a password (bruteforceable by any computer) you can take complete control of an account; also changeable by a computer with noone behind it.

Even the implementation of the Captcha system would greatly increase the secuirty and atleast make it so bots could not hack accounts through brute force then changing emails to set parameters.

Not once did anyone in the thread mention database compromisation.
Nor does the title.
All i said was it requires no confirmation to change anything which i confirmed on my own account.
This is undoubtedly and unarguably a huge loophole.
Imagine i walked into a bank and said “I want to withdraw ALL the money from this account X”. (imagine you are withdrawing much more than an ATM would allow)
They reply: " Okay do you have your PIN?"
You reply: “Yes here it is”
Cool have all the money KBYE.

Now normally you would expect things like
“you are not tied to this account or this person anyway”
“do you have proof of identity”
the list goes on.

But none of this needs to be done to get at an account.
This is where i believe the problem lies.
Now yes; account security DOES lie with the account holder but it also lies with Arena Net. This needs to be heightened.

Now above “We’ll help, but your security is in your hands”. This is what you have not done. You do not even have a Captcha function to prove someone isn’t just brute forcing the email. Some of the even the most basic of forums have.

TL;DR: ANet lacks account security and there is nothing stopping the brute forcing of account passwords. Yes users need to do what they can but ANet doesnt provide the resources for this.

A guild mate of mine (names will not be named at the moment) has had his account stolen. So i decided to look into it.

To hack an account on guild wars 2
step 1. Login on GuildWars2.com
step 2. Change email + input password
step 3. Press enter

Absoloutely NO confirmation needs to be done to have the email changed and i literally just tested this; confirmation emails are sent but you dont even need to look at them because I just changed my email address and logged straight in on the one i changed it to.

My mate has also proof of purchase and it has taken ANet over 2 days to get back to him about the complete inability to access ANYTHING to do with the account.
(yet to get back to him)

Lesson: Get a super mega hyper amazing password and just hope they dont get it; because if so your DONE.

ANet has ALSO taken down the Reset Password function (which i have also confirmed).

This is completely stupid and needs to be fixed

I’m experiencing the same with PvP; i see guardians catching me as an air elementalist with +68% movespeed; AFTER GETTING STUNNED ASWELL. Itskitten damage is fineish; needs a slight buff; but air elementalist is supposed to be fastest in the game and its not; by far

The only REAL healer is a water elementalist; maybe a guardian. I cant answer to guardian but i play Ele. However i feel they are stupidly underpowered in some ways and leave much to be desired. Dont even think about SPvP (structured) because it forces the use of a staff which in my opinion is the worst weapon for an elementalist (i prefer Scpeter/Dagger or Dagger/Dagger)

i have +68% movespeed and people easily catch me which is wrong.

just thought i’d share my thoughts on Elementalists.
I currently play one; level 68; I just feel in any PvP format they are the complete SLOWEST profession.
I have +68% movespeed yet NOPE; other people outrun me with VERY little effort.
They are already squishy as hell so why do all classes outrun me; it makes me feel like they need a serious buff or something; i already get 3hit by people tankier, faster, that deal more damage when it comes to 1v1s.
maybe its a bug and im not really gaining the movespeed properly???
but NOTHING should outrun an elementalist with that much movespeed; especially since i stun them then they just casually stroll up to kill me after that anyway.

Thoughts?
