In the other thread someone discovered that disabling auto proxy detect solved the CoherentUI crash issue.
Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings
Make sure “Automatically detect settings” is UNcheckedThis has solved the issue for several of us on both Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.

Since the last build update – I went in a changed this setting back so it is now checked.
Launcher loaded. No error msg from Coherent but the launcher screen is frozen.

Hi all,
If you’re stuck, please bring up the task manager and see if CoherentUI_Host.exe is running (it will be under the processes tab, not the applications tab); if it is, kill it and try running Guild Wars 2 again.
Not showing up as running.
