After several weeks of radio silence, I have been refunded the majority of my missing items.

I originally lost a Kite, some gold, and several rare dyes.
The Kite and gold were restored; for the missing rare dyes, however, i received dye packs (the gemstore packs) as replacements instead. While I’m unlikely to get any rares out of them, it’s a minor loss compared to getting my other items back, so I’m happy.

I expect they will be making additional refunds in the coming days if they haven’t gotten around to yours yet. I advise being patient! They seem to be under a lot of pressure, and they’re clearly working on the problem, so I doubt sending additional emails is necessary.

Fantastic idea. This is the kind of unique gameplay that would put GW2 further ahead of other MMOs.

It’s unique, it sounds like a blast, and it would be a massive challenge. Absolutely yes.

I love this idea! I’ve filled up an entire guild bank with a full set of every armor I could afford, just so that I can change appearance when I feel like it.

Being able to extract the skins in some way and add them to a locker would give me a long-term goal (i.e. full completion of the exotic and crafted armors), as well as make my low-level alts look decent.

This is one of the top items on my Christmas wishlist, ANet!
