Guild Wars 2

Previously, characters that entered lower-level zones were able to view their effective “down-scaled” level in addition to their actual level. This is no longer the case with level 80 characters that have progressed into their mastery levels.

While it’s still possible to find out what your effective level is (via the “Hero: Equipment” tab), it was nice to simply have it always view-able in the main GUI. From what I remember, it was pretty unobtrusive too (:

I was wondering if anyone could direct me to sources where ANet explained why they removed this feature? If there are none to be found, would it be unreasonable to suggest that this feature be re-implemented?

Just started playing this a couple weeks ago, so I’m still low-level (30 atm), but I’m really enjoying it so far.

I’m mainly looking to make some friends, have fun, and learn more! I have plenty of questions about this game, and I’m sure more will crop up as I continue to progress. But above all else, I’m just looking to have a good time with some fun people!

I just started playing GW2 a little over a week ago… So far I’m loving it! I was wondering if anyone would be able to offer any pointers? Currently a level 28 Warrior, but I’m not sure what some of my priorities should be. I’ve basically been buying and using everything with +Power as well as upgrading it with more +Power… I’m really not sure what kind of equips I should be looking for, but this is what I’ve been after so far. But it’s getting to the point where gear is starting to feature more than one attribute bonus, so what other things would be good to take into consideration?

I think one of my favorite things so far is how frequently boss fights / champions are popping up all over the map. At least Kessex Hills, anyway; I hope that the others have just as many

If you guys could let me know if there’s anything else that might be helpful to know as a Warrior, or just in general, that would be awesome! Thank you!
