Yes, sometimes I can hold a point for a very long time while fighting 1 or 2 people. But it seems like that’s all I’m going to be good for. I don’t want to be the person who gets all the kills, but the theory behind my tankiness, is that I outlive the other person long enough for me to kill them effectively.
Maybe they should disables auto balance after a certain point in the game. If the game should have been auto balanced in the beginning but none of you did, then I think you deserve to get last minute auto balanced and lose. Only seems fair.
Hey guys, I’ve been playing warrior ever since prerelease, and I have to say I had a lot of fun with him. I build a lot toughness and not so much dps centered stats. I maxed out defense and tatics with the rest of my points in strength so I can do a little damage. I’m using a sword and shield and utilize conditional damage. My armor is based around power, toughness and healing power. I use regen signit, “for greater justice”, defence banner, Shake it off, and Signit of Rage.
I’m really tanky during PvE and never have issues taking on PvE mob. In WvW I seem to do okay as well, but there’s no telling because you usually get zerged and don’t have much 1v1 action. But in sPvP, it’s a constant let down almost. Sometimes I’ll do really good and 2v1 people, but sometimes I’ll get downed by 1 person without as much as scratching their health (mostly because their heal).
I’d consider my build an off tankish build because of the power, but I’m stacking as much toughness as any one person can. Most of the times, even fighting against other warriors, 1v1 usually ends up with me getting mykitten handed to me, despite all the toughness AND healing power (yes, I stack a kitten ton of that too, I also have regen on my banner).
I keep reading that the 100-blades warrior is OP, or at least, it’s a viable build. But does this mean it’s the only viable build? I like to build tanky, but so far sPvP has brought me to believe that it’s really no use. This would mean I would HAVE to build like DPS, which isn’t very diverse at all. I played Daiblo 3 when it came out, I don’t want to have to build like everyone else in order to have a fun experience.
Any opinions?
P.S. No, I don’t suck at PvP. I was able to 1v2 before, but noobs of course.
